Called stating there was probably a virus in my windows operating system. Said he was a Microsoft Service Technician. When I asked for his name, company and phone #, he said: "Get Lost" and hung up.

Scam to get money and control of your PC based on a made up virus. Human malware.

Claimed he was from Microsoft.  Told him I knew it was a scam and that I was an IT guy.  He started testing my IT knowledge with stupid questions, then called me a liar.

Got the same thing and since I found it a bit weird, asked him to send me an e-mail instead about all of his bogus story then I hung up.

Called and said that the computer I registered with them was downloading malicious content as we speak which is funny cause I haven't used that computer in months. I just hung up.
