I keep getting these calls on my home phone all throughout the day a part of the evening.

Got a call myself. Went to VM directly and they left no message. 999 area code appears either to be from Missouri or non-existent.

They have been calling on both of my lines multiple times a day. I finally answered and waited for someone to pick up. They identified themselves as some computer support company. It is a total scam. These are the same criminals that called people posing as Microsoft Tech Support a few weeks back and said they received numerous error messages from your PC and that you need to let them help you debug your computer.

Do not fall for this.There was just a big article in the LA Times about these guys and also in the national news.They will at best fraudulently charge you for services not needed, at worst they will trick you into downloading maleware that will allow them access to your personal data or take control of your system.

How do we stop them? Police can't do anything.  Phone company suggested I change numbers.  Please somebody help.

I just answered one. Some bimbo from India asking about WIndows OS. I told her we don't use that and she started acting like a [***]. So I told her to F**k off and she hung up.

They said they received numerous error messages from our PC and that you need to let them help you debug your computer. Asked us to run eventvwr and see Error entries on system list.
Got rude when we asked them for their website or to send us their contact information.
Man said they were calling from 'an Internet number'.

We recommend: ASK FOR THEIR NAME AND COMPANY and business registration in the US

Looks like I am not the only one getting these calls.  How about AT&T our service provider putting a halt to these annoying interruptions to our lives?

I keep getting a call from 999-910-0456, I say hello and noone answeres so I hang up.
I would like to make sure it is not someone trying to link to my cell number and be making
long distance calls. Like they did a while ago from jail. I would like them to stop calling!!!!!!!!!!

Getting repeated calls from this number, obscene and saying my name and saying they know where I live, if my husband answers they offer computer services, Indian accent. Made police report, they can do nothing.

I just started receiving these calls on my T-Mobile cell phone about 6 days ago.  They don't leave a message and when I answer, they don't say anything.  I did, however, manage to block these calls through T-Mobiles website.  I had to call them to add a special feature to my account to block it.  I am on the NDNC list.  How is our government letting this happen.  It not only happens to me, it happens to my 88 year old Dad.  At least 15 calls a day from different phone numbers that come up on caller id as different states in the USA.  This is frustrating.  Is there anything we can do about it?
