Help!! I too am getting an incredible volume of calls.  I finally just waited on the line to ask to be pulled from their calling list.  When asked my vehicle number  and type of car, I asked if they would look it up by my name and they hung up. When I called the number 606-879-4307 and it rings on and on with out an answer.  This needs to stop!  We have 10 lines and I am getting multiple calls on all of them...Help if anyone can!

SPRINT PCS ENTERED THEIR MERCHANTS STORE ADDRESS "AS MY HOME ADDRESS" because I live out of the coverage area-in order to get me as a customer..causing it to appear as if i furnished false info to get a cell phone..which has put me in danger of being placed on the terrorist watch list..it also put me in danger because e911 would have arrived at their  "store" if I had a dropped call..with the bad service... and tax's on my bill was generated to the county where their store was, instead of the county where I live!! I turned these federal crimes and this fraud into the DA and other Gov agencies..HOWEVER, I NEED A LAWYER! 931-337-1554 PLEASE CALL!!  YOU

I think we, as private individuals, need to get proactive about this. It's quite clear the "Federal DO Not Call Registry is just another scam and a way for disreputble organizations to get a FREE and very long list of numbers to call.

Everyone should provide as mucg info online about these numbers as possible including physical addresses of these companies. Once we have addresses, grease the palm of your local gang banger to slash some tires or tag thier building, break a few windows out on a regualr basis. It may take a little time but the message should be clear.

Just food for thought. We all know these people are not going to stop calling, no matter how many times they get posted about on the net.

To the telemarketers of Time Warner/Comcast:

I have contacted the FTC and I do have my phone number listed on the do not call registry.  Should you continue to contact my number, I will take you to court.  So whoever owns the number of 713-341-1000 - if the initials of MKH show up anywhere on your contact list - DO NOT CALL ME. If I need assistance I will take it up with the local company.  I suggest you read the various laws and statutes available to the general public so that we know our rights as to this type of ridiculous type of "marketing."  With a little common sense - if you call, and don't leave a message, call back 20 times a day and after 8:00 pm c.s.t. - I do believe the general public may take action to stop you and your company.  I keep logs, dates and times - I have all the documentation I need for a pretty good case against your company. I left a message with your "supervisor" who's name is some what difficult to understand and then when I called back - your office is closed.  Interesting! DO NOT CALL ANY NUMBER ASSOCIATED WITH INITIALS M K OR H in any arrangement.

I too registered our phones on the DNCList when it first came available.
Same thing when you complain, your number is not registered even though I have the emails to prove it.
FTC like 99.9% of state, local and federal agencies are full of horse manure.
The employees are as useless as a hind teet on a bull, and give you no satisfaction, or help.
My advice get vonage, have voice ID and then when the schmucs call you, set your computer to dial out and tie up their lines.

How do I file a complaint against PHOTOBUCKET for deceptive practices, scamming new users in its fraudulent sign-up which feeds phone numbers to Ringtone Channel?  Charges from PHOTOBUCKET's partners appear on people's phone bills, and now I have to fight this.  I wanted no part of it, but they are trying to bill me $9.99.

Photobucket is criminal and fraudulent and it should be fined for its practices.  They know very well that Ringtone Channel is a scam, a lousy, thieving way to try to steal $9.99 (or more) from unsuspecting users of Photobucket.  I'm so angry I want to see them shut down NOW.

I think I know what Twan meant. :)
What twan wrote was:
"I wold like to now how send that message let them now that i am write her so let me no what you wont me to now."

What I think Twan meant:
I would like to know how (to) send that message (to/and)let them know I am right here so let me know what you want me to (do) now."

:):):) I like an interesting bad spelling/grammar challenge...translation is my gift. LOL.

I have been getting numerous calls from Fingerhut, 1-800-503-2463.  They ask for a Robert Sanchez, and both my husband and I have told them that there is no Robert Sanchez at this number, and to take us off of their list.  So far, this hasn't worked.  I have filed a complaint against them at the Do Not Call website, and I hope that works.  They are driving us crazy with their incessant calls.  Any advice?

I just called the number they gave me to return there call, 866-485-6222.  It is North American Bank Card.  Spoke with a very nice gentleman and when I explained to him that we are on the "Do not call" list, he apologized and assured me we would be taken off.

The call begins, "This call is being monitored."  I hope so because Washington Mutual has gone too far behind the scenes after selling ads across the land about the joy they feel helping "the common man."  Sales calls from outside vendors are not just an annoyance; they are BIG MONEY makers for those institutions you have entrusted with your finances and personal information.  Makes you wonder who really should be held responsible for ID thefts etc.

Got a call from 1-207-453-7422 claiming to be a credit card company "Card Services" offering to lower my interest rate.  Called this number back and got a personal answering machine.  Looked it up on whitepages.com and it was registered to Marcella and Michael Pollard in Fairfield Maine.  Also got calls from 1-207-478-0327 and 1-207-402-5637, one each day after the first call. I get recordings when I try to call these numbers back.

Telemarketers may still call me, but I have a gift for making them wish they hadn't. I simply keep them on the phone until they think I'm going to say "yes", then when the opportunity arises, I tell them "Wow, you really need to work on your selling skills" or something worse. Perhaps they'll lose that job then. Who the f*ck cares. Get another job. By the way: IT SEEMS TO WORK.

The federal registry is a fraud and a scam. Why in the world should I have to sign up to not get these annoying, unsolicited calls? Why are those making these calls given more rights than me or you when your eating dinner, playing with your children or at work?

Why not forward all these calls to your local congressman? I bet he can get them stopped easy enough.
