I just called the number they gave me to return there call, 866-485-6222.  It is North American Bank Card.  Spoke with a very nice gentleman and when I explained to him that we are on the "Do not call" list, he apologized and assured me we would be taken off.

Hey Missy, I just thought I'd let you know that I've been recieving phone calls from a creditor THAT I DON'T OWE!!! I'm getting 2-3 calls a DAY leaving a message for someone I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF - CLAIMING THAT IF I'M NOT "HER OR HER SPOUSE" I SHOULD "HANG UP AND NOT LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE"!!! The real problem is that these messages are being left on my CELL PHONE so, I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM!!!! I have contacted the creditor (They are in fact a legit debt collector)and I was informed that they would stop calling - That was 2 MONTHS AGO, YET THE PHONE KEEPS RINGING!!!! I'm sick and tired of getting phone calls for these "RETARDed LOSERS" - Can I give the creditor your number?

Nice job; Miss(y) Entitlement. We're all impressed.
Getting (sorta') back on subject; are you that starved for attention you overlook the fact that you're probably not the only 1 charging the latest "Nicole Miller" & "Gucci" sluttire (sp?) to daddy's card?
When you meet your "maker"; we doubt it's the one you're planning on. Tho, I hear Methusalah carries some great shoes.

The call begins, "This call is being monitored."  I hope so because Washington Mutual has gone too far behind the scenes after selling ads across the land about the joy they feel helping "the common man."  Sales calls from outside vendors are not just an annoyance; they are BIG MONEY makers for those institutions you have entrusted with your finances and personal information.  Makes you wonder who really should be held responsible for ID thefts etc.

Got a call from 1-207-453-7422 claiming to be a credit card company "Card Services" offering to lower my interest rate.  Called this number back and got a personal answering machine.  Looked it up on whitepages.com and it was registered to Marcella and Michael Pollard in Fairfield Maine.  Also got calls from 1-207-478-0327 and 1-207-402-5637, one each day after the first call. I get recordings when I try to call these numbers back.

Telemarketers may still call me, but I have a gift for making them wish they hadn't. I simply keep them on the phone until they think I'm going to say "yes", then when the opportunity arises, I tell them "Wow, you really need to work on your selling skills" or something worse. Perhaps they'll lose that job then. Who the f*ck cares. Get another job. By the way: IT SEEMS TO WORK.

The federal registry is a fraud and a scam. Why in the world should I have to sign up to not get these annoying, unsolicited calls? Why are those making these calls given more rights than me or you when your eating dinner, playing with your children or at work?

Why not forward all these calls to your local congressman? I bet he can get them stopped easy enough.

I keep getting calls on my private cell number, which is also out of the US. I have read about filing a complaint but why is it that they make the filing so difficult for us??  We are the ones being harassed!!
These numbers are constantly calling but I will not answer my phone.
310-241-0012, 310-241-2909, 310-241-0648, 310-241-0165, 310-370-0917,All of these area codes are from LA. California  954-724-9490 (this is a new area code from Tampa, FL)
These scammers really need to stop.

Next time a telemarketer calls you, ask for their home phone number and address. Ask for their full name, and the type of credit card they use. Ask do they have any kids, and try to sell them a car for about $50,000, it doesn't matter if you have it or not, they will think your nuts.

No Pup!
A marketing trick is to call the number first to see if it’s a live number. This is usually not done by a person and that’s why no one says anything. You may get this type of call a few times before a live person calls. If it says unknown caller hit the * button a few time and hang up or do not answer at all.

I keep getting calls from a company that calls itself Mountain Area Communications and I tell them each time to stop calling me and to take me off the list.  Not only do they call me again but they call me from different numbers also all starting with the same first 6 numbers. 423-317-8219, 423-317-0554, and 423-317-9129.  How do I get this to stop and I'm even on the do not call list. This is very annoying!!
