I second this reference, as I know a man confined to a wheelchair as well, who also works for WalMart. He's not a greeter, though. He is one of the assistant managers for the store!! Every time I go in, I see him zipping around everywhere, chasing down cashiers, helping everyone, and I NEVER see him without a smile on his face. I asked him once how he does it being in a wheelchair, and his only reply is "I just don't let it drag me down."
I heard from one of the cashiers a few months ago that he actually helped catch a shoplifter too!
You still believe that telemarketing is the only alternative to welfare for your plight? Then my friend, you ARE in a rut... the only problem is that the rut you are in is one no one but you can get you out of and it's all in your mind.
You can't argue disabilities with me, as I am almost completely blind, I have a child with disabilities, and my husband is a war vet with severe injuries from military service. Yet, he has a steady job making a lot of money (no telemarketing), I have a job teaching children with disabilities (NO telemarketing), and my son will grow up knowing that even though he is disabled, he can still live a full and prosperous life, WITHOUT the help of welfare or telemarketing...
