The call was from a machine asking in english and spanish for me to call it back, it didn't tell me what it was regarding. I called it back and a person answered, she mumbled where I had called and when I asked her what this was she said "this is a business office" and asked for my phone number I gave it to her and she had called redgarding a "personal business matter" (her words exactly the call was for my ex-boyfriend and she said it was important that she contact him but wouldn't tell me what it was about.

The caller needed to speak with my father-in-law (who is deaf).  When I asked what she wanted she said it "was a business matter" and she wouldn't tell me the name of the company she was with.  I finally got her to tell me that she was with a collections company collecting a hospital debt.  VERY RUDE!!

Some mexican man asked for me I didnt give him his information, he acted weird. I dont trust people like this

I received a call from this number and they do not tell me who they are they just say its an important business call and its kinda weird

I got a call from this number today and it was a recording saying that all available operators were busy so please hold on for the next available operator.  Then the call was disconnected, I called the number back and it just rang no one ever picked up.

They are part of the scams that university hospital pulls on sick people who go into their emergency room. I was very sick and in extreme pain and went there for help. The only thing they did was take an urine sample, blood test, blood pressure, and pulse. I already had a urine test and blood sample that had been done three days before but they would not take it. I had to stand a whole seven hours i was there trying to see a doctor and get help as there were no open seats. University hospital called me back one time after the blood and urine test for what they called a re-evaluation. In reality what it is is to keep you there long enough so you will finally realize that you will never get the medical care you need. Then after you leave in about four weeks you will receive a bill that is not even broken down for $589.00 for in my case a blood and urine test.

Even if you try calling university hospital you will never get a person to go over this scram bill - just a computer voice.

Received a call from 210-340-7737. When I asked I was thanked for calling them and asked me to please hold since all available advisor where busy.  The call was cut off before anyone answered.

Someone called saying it was a "personal business matter".  No other information was given. These people creep me out.

My son's trac fone (fairly new) has been getting collection calls and text messages like crazy. They called and said thank you for calling and then put us on hold. I called them back and informed them that they are calling a 7 year olds emergency phone and eating up his minutes and they said they would take the number off the list! Arg! Now I gotta call trac fone!! I'm tired of this!

We are a business and get calls from 210-340-7737 almost every day, like many of you posted, it is a recording. I called the number back today to see what it was and the woman that answered was also very RUDE, I told her we were a business and on the national do not call registry, she said why would a business be on a do not call registry, I told her because we don't want to get unsolicited sales calls.  She then asked for a couple of people, if they LIVED here, I told her again, this is a business, she said she didn't think it was a business and at that point I told her she was wrong and to take us off their call list and hung up.  Does anyone know who these people are????

The company is called Data Search, a Medical Collection Agency in San Antonio. Several of the people were nice and helpful and then one called David Keith was so rude, I will never send them another payment, ever!! That guy is a total jerk and I hope that company fires him soon.

getting calls from this # but usually dead air. Collection agents have called my # which we've had for 6 years and ask for the couple that lived in the house we bought 1 year ago! That phone number was never theirs!  It's called skip tracing, they see their address and that there is a new phone# attached to it, so they hound the new homeowners/phone owners, etc. and it takes several attempts to remove the #.  biggest beef: if someone is going to call you about "important business matter" then there needs to be someone on the phone when you pick up, not a recording asking you to wait.  that's a huge insult!

got a call from this number and i could berly understand her she just said I owe like 400 dollars to something and i asked from what and she just kept mumbling, she said i need to pay it now, she was rude the whole time...i have a young voice so she finally said is your parents there I was like no there not, but I'm 21 and live on my own lol...

I got a call from this whack 210-340-7737 number.  I called them back using *67 before dialing their phone number to hide my personal phone number, and asked them where their office was located so that I could come in and make a payment for my outstanding balance. They then asked for my account number.  I told them I didn't know it yet but, I would get it in person face to face when I validate that they are a legitimate company.  They then hung up on me.  

Unfortunately, I previously worked in Wash DC in a Forensic Information Security Officer capacity on the WWW.  Using my experience I have deduced the following information regarding this company.

If you are dealing with University Health System bills, since they are a hospital, you have the legal right to negotiate your bill to something you can afford and pay it off with the hospital directly to eliminate the debt and stop these annoying calls.  That is what I would do, then you can circumvent these chumsucking scumbags.  Remember, knowledge is power...  The collection practices of third-party collectors are directly regulated by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FCRA) administered by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

I received a call from this number.  It turned out to be a billing agency for a hospital where I had treatment.  They were very professional and courteous.  I see that most of the posts here are negative.  I owed the money and it was a debt that was mine to pay.  I paid it off with no problems after making arrangements to do so.  I guess the rest of the people posting here don't seem to think they should pay their bills and that everything should be given to them for free.  I guess the liberals have more time to type than the conservatives.
