Get repeated calls from this number on cell phone.  no messages are ever left.  they call at exactly 8:30 and 10:30 am.  The one time I actually answered they hung up on me. I googled the number and its some collections service.  i have nothing in collections with anything i owe!  check this number on complaints.com and you'll see someone elses hassle with this number.

STOP calling my cell! Maybe they will stop if i send them my cell phone bill next month.

I get these calls once or twice a day.  When I answer, no one is there.  If I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  I've also gotten the same type of call from this other number 215-992-0662. I've stopped answering calls from (215) numbers because I don't have any outstanding bills.  The only conclusion I can reach is that the person who previously owned my number does have debt and they are trying to reach that person.

I am getting these calls with nobody there, but I know what it is.  The automated caller system dials numbers and if there is nobody available in the office to take the call the computer has made, it just hangs up.  Remember the "Tele-Zapper"?  It works.  I have loaned mine to a number of friends and am getting it back today.  All automated calls get the signal that the phone (it is hooked up to) is no longer in service and after 3 calls the computer takes that number off it's list.  It works.

I kept getting phone calls from this number, but they kept hanging up. The last time they called they left a message asking for someone else. I did some research and this is what I found.

If you want to fight back then this is what you want to do.
They will try to intimidate consumers with various tactics. One of their favorite ones is when you question them about an alleged debt that they are trying to collect on, they get real snotty. You may or may not owe the debt, but that does not give them the right to treat you like dirt on the phone. If you cower easy to these types of tactics just hang up. If you would not let your children talk to you that way why should you let an adult?

One of the easiest ways to get NCO Financial to go away is to send them a request for validation. A request for validation is simply a letter stating that you do not know what the debt is for and you want more information. By law they have to provide you with the name of the original creditor, the original creditors address and phone number. 9 times out of 10 they will reply with a letter that they are no longer attempting to collect on that debt.

Another thing that they do is use a predictive dialer for out going calls. If they call you on your cell phone with a predictive dialer they owe you $500.00 end of discussion. That is a violation of the Telephone Consumers Protection Act. Make sure you document the day and time that they called you on your cellphone and wait for your bill. When you receive your cellphone bill fire off a letter telling them that you know that they broke the law with a redacted copy of your phone bill and wait for their attorney to call you. If done properly you can leverage this to get rid of a debt they are attempting to collect and maybe put some cash in your pocket. Just remember each time they call you it is worth $500 dollars if they do it with a predictive dialer to your cellphone.

If you found this information please tell others and book mark this site as I will be updating and expanding on the knowledge shared here on a daily basis.

several calls from NCO for debt that was discharged by the credit card company last year. they are the third company to try and collect.depending on your state. you can write to them and tell them not to try and contact you again, that leaves them with 1 option, legal action, and that will be the last you hear from them, unless they were truly hired by the creditor,(extremely doubtful).

search google, attorney general (your state) then type debt collections in the search  bar.

    Neighbor
Automated caller was asking for details about a neighbor at a specified address.  I hung on the phone to find out details because I wanted to end the anoying calls that have been coming for over a month.  The woman who answered after 5 min., told me the woman they were calling about had credit issues with them. When I asked what gave her the legal right to call my number about credit issues they may have with a possible neighbor, the woman was a snot, I heard her say I was unresponsive so I must be the woman they were looking for and then she hungup on me.

    Wrong Number
Have been receiving calls form 215-320-0424 and 800-220-0605 asking for another person with the same last name.  Have told them repeatedly that hey have the wrong number.  They are calling a number on the do not call list. The caller now says they are going to send a sertified letter to us.  When I googled there numbers I find out they are a collection agency. Who the H___ are these people that they harrass wrong numbers and not even the people thay are looking for.

I have been recieving multiple calls a day from this number.  It's very annoying and I would like them to stop.  It shows on my cell that the number is being dialed from a computer, and I am unable to answer it.  If I don't reject the call, they leave a message.  It's a man asking for someone by the name of Stan and wanting me to call an 800 number.  I do not call this number, because I don't have time to deal with pricks like them snotting off to me, as most people have claimed they do.  I just want the 5 or more calls a day to stop.  They've already called four times today and it's not even 1PM yet.

I'm only a teenager, I cannot have outstanding debts, unless the freaking LIBRARY contacted them to hound after me.  But I highly doubt that.

    Lesa Laney-Thrasher
Today is Aug. 10,2007 and just this morning I have recieved now five phone calls within the past hour from this company. They do not leave messages and a few times I have picked up to talk and no one answers. This is becoming very annoying to me. I understand that they are a collection agency, but the do not need to call someone over and over again within minutes from the first call. I would like to put an end to this. I know that I owe money, but they do not need to call everyday over sometimes 10 times a day.

    Thank you,
    Mrs. Thrasher

RE: 215-320-0424:  Just another group of idiots who have nothing better to do than harass innocent citizens!  Once again, I am NOT the person they continually ask for, and do NOT know the person they demand to speak to!  These harassments are illegal and this company should be closed down.
