I keep getting calls from this number on my CELL PHONE!  I don't know this number and I want the calls to stop!

Same here, every few days no voicemail just calls on my cell.

Left a voicemail claiming to be from Centers for Disease control and Prevention, doing cell-phone survey on childhood immunization, asked to call back at 877-898-5903

Got a message from this number claiming to be CDC wanting to know about children in my household. They are calling cell phones to conduct their survey.

I think the real CDC and US Gov't needs to start looking into this number and contact them.

The message I got sounded like a gentalman from the India area... Out sourced call center...

i have received 4 calls in the last 3 days from this organization. they left one voicemail stating they were the CDC calling to do a random survey on child immunizations and inquiring if i had any children in my home and if they had been immunized.  The 4th call in entertained and spoke to a representative. Very few of the questions had to do w/ child immunizations.  Most of the questions were very personal. I obviously felt very uneasy answering these calls as it could be any fraudster on the other end and i ended the call.

I have also rcvd phone calls from this number 312-759-4899,stating they were conducting a servey on childhood immunizations. They leave messages every other day, when I finally answered the phone  I told the lady that she had the wrong number she stated OH YES I DO! I then told her to stop calling me that i was not interested, she stated that I HAD TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS!!!!!! I told her I did not and to stop callimg me. She stated no. by this time I was so mad I hung up on her

Representing themselves as doing a survey in regard to child immunizations.  Once I spoke with this party the questions had nothing to do with initial representation.  Nature of call was very personal questions and at the time I asked to not be called again and ended the phone call.

Calls are blocked.how do they get through?.........check your cell phone bill as unanswered calls are being billed to your account by a solication company

Same as above - claimed to be from CDC 5:40 p.m. PDT caller ID Illinois 312-759-4899.  These people need to be punished severely.

Called me 2 days in a row 4/28/09.

They call me today. But I didn't answer.

It seems like no one here is considering the possibility that it is legitimate. Check out http://www.cdc.gov/nis/

I looked into it being real:
1. NIS is based out of the University of Chicago
2. It's number is different from the call back number we've been given through voicemail.

I doubt it's the CDC

I keep getting calls from the same number as well.  I called this number:  1-866-999-3340 to advise them to cease & decist calls to my personal cell number immediately or they would be facing litigation, as these calls were unsolicited.  I suggest you all do the same!

This is ridiculous.  I have gotten a phone call from them this whole month! I got a message the first time from them way back in March, and they left me a voicemail, but ever since, they would keep calling and I would end up having to silence the ringer/vibration. Is there any way that we can tell them not to call us anymore?  I'm sick of it.

I too am getting these calls daily. They say they are calling from the CDC. I would like to see the CDC do something to stop these calls since they are using the CDC and the recent flu outbreak to get people to answer their questions which have nothing to do with the CDC.
