I have had REPEATED calls from this number but they never leave a message.

The name 'M.S. Gerald' kept appearing on my caller ID, however no message (of any kind) was ever left!

I was not sure who was attempting to recah me.  I have a couple family members that are suffering with health problems, and was worried that something had happened...  

Nonetheless, out of couriousity, I completed a search at goggle.com, and soon learned that M.S. Gerald was a collection agency...

Yeah, it's a collection agency. If you are getting calls from this number, it means a credit issuer has placed you in collections for unpaid debt. I answered the call after finding out who it was, and have spoken with them a couple of times now. They've broken the FFDCA by calling several times after 9p.m., but have become much more polite after I told them I was using the 'memo' function on my answering machine to record this and all subsequent calls from them.Don't be scared of them, become knowledgable about your situation, and above all, PAY THE DEBT, if you in fact owe it.

Got a call 10/2 at 5:21pm from (312) 922-6500.  No message of course.  Malcolm S. Gerald and Associates, please feel free to blow me (and please keep the change) you farking [***] weasels.

Same thing...caller never leaves a message.  I do not answer to calls that don't leave messages no matter if I owe them a debt or not.  If they can't leave a message, then don't call.

I received 3 phone calls from this number, but they refuse to leave a message. I do not answer when I cannot identify the caller, either by caller i.d. or a message left, because I have been wrongfully harassed by callers in the past.

Totally [***] agency.  I have had several phone calls in which they hang up.  Now I realize they hung up because I was a woman's voice.  They called at 8:30 this morning asking for my dad.  Hello, he doesn't and has NEVER lived here.  He never even calls me but once a year and he calls my cell phone.  I don't even think he knows my home number.  That is what is so rediculous about this so-called agency.  The [***] actually had the nerve to tell me that John (my dad) gave THEM this number (my home number)  OH PLEASE.......get a real freakin job and quit harassaing someone who has no credit cards and has no debt!  I have now told them once and if they call back, there will be hell that THEY will be collected on.

These but-holes call my number and starts asking questions about someone whom they absolutely knows nothing about but thinks that you won't know anybetter.  Then they proceed to leave a message with me because I answered the phone and tells me to relay this message to the individual it was intended for because they would love me for it.  Then they tells me to trust them, the individual is not in any trouble, they will want this message.  How about instead of calling under false pretenses they actually tell the truth - jerks.

They are calling up to six times per day asking for someone I do not know.  I have repeatedly told them that they have the wrong number.  I had no idea they were a collection agency until today.  I have had the same phone number for almost 6 years so I do not see how they could assume that all of a sudden somebody new lives in my home.  The person they are asking for is a Spanish sounding name for goodness sake.  My last name is not Spanish sounding at all nor do I speak Spanish!

this is a collection agency. malcolm s. gerald and associates. They ara a collection agency service. They have a record of everyone who has had a collection under your phone #. They are very evasive and will transfer you several times and give you the run around . If you manage to get a hold of them and tell them they need to be straight forward or you will hang up. Give them very little info and make them give you the info they are looking for. Lots of luck

M S GERALD is not the name of a friend of mine, therefore I did not answer.    Think of it like a ring of the doorbell.  Would you open the door if the person answered M S Gerald?  No.  You would be wary.  So just apply that to the phone and problem solved.

I called the number this morning and got a total [***].  I told him I continually receive calls from this number.  He said he couldn't find the number and accused me of being rude and then hung up.  I call the jerk back and he started yelling, literally, yelling at me.  Of course, I yelled back.  I know who they're trying to reach.  I get several calls on this phone # for the previous person that had it. I'm just going to change the number.

DO NOT EVER PAY A DEBT if owed  to a COLLECTIONS agency...ONLY deal with the orginal creditor

wanna get even?  when you get one of these a holes on the line   send a  strong message    take an AIR HORN and  give them a BLAST     trust me they will think twice  even ten times before ever calling you again

i have made a payments to the crirdit card because they are billing me but   m.s gerald keeps calling me. but i never home because i am working     every day.i come and my wife told me they called again they need to  stop because i am paying the bill off very soon.i don't know what   why they don't stop.they have called me at 8am and 9pm.sometimes they had called me over ten times in one day.these people need to be stop    harassing me.the goverment needs to tell them to stop calling people late and if they are making the payments they need leave the people alone. it is to much with you.

MS Gerald called again-I never answer their calls, but they are relentless.  I was told that if you aanswer the phone, but don't say anything, (not even "Hello") that they will be charged for as long as you leave the phone on...so, from now on I'll just pick up the phone and let them pay!  They call up to 3 times a day.

Same thing happened to me as the calls above.  Repeated calls from this number to my cell phone with no message left.

This is a company that buys accounts that have been "written off" as bad debt. The account could have already been paid and they will insist that it has not been paid. They say they are calling from an attorneys office and will ask if you are represented by an attorney. They TRY to be professional, but are far from it...it's hysterical.  If you try to have an intelligent conversation with them they can not handle it.  They are relentless with their phone calls.  Don’t let anything they say upset you…they are only a group of people sitting in cubicles trying to collect money on accounts that have been long paid for or forgotten. Just simply blow them off and listen to how they blow up…I’m telling you it is hysterical.

This Company has men calling me at 8am in the Morning until 9pm at night I have Three children and a Husband. I just brought a new cell phone with a new number to go along with it. Two weeks later I stated to get these calls,First they would just call and leave no message? Then they finally left a message for this Lady and left her Name and Informantion "WOW" I know something about a totally stranger?!Scary. Finally This guy calls me at 8:50pm at night starts yelling at me and talking crap,my whole family was around me I was trying to be nice to tell him that I'm not this person and I dont owe you or your company any money , He starting calling me a [***] and saying I was lying , That everyone is Theives and trys to rip off everyone and that everyone is in debt and we all owe money. I told this [***] that I'm not Everyone , and if they keep on calling me I will file harassing charges In the State Of IL , Either by Cell Phone or Home Phone Collection Agency Can Not Do What This Company is Do to my Family or Any One Else. I informed These People if They Ever Called Me Again I will Go to The Police ,Call my Cell Phone company and My Mayor where I live and Fill BIG Time Complaints!!!!!

They call and never leave a message and never say who they are looking for so I let the caller ID and answering machine take the calls. They just never ever leave a message. I know that they are a collection agency. Sounds to me like a lot of people have had the same problem as calling all the time. It gets very aggravating to keep having them call. I do agree with a lot that everyone here has written about. I know that they are not calling for me. I looked it up they are out of Chicago.
