Chase has been calling me every days for the past 5 days 20 times a day. It is very annoying. I am a bit late with the payment, and they are harassing me with their calls. I don't think their strategy makes me pay faster. I am seriously thinking of moving to a different bank.

So far today (April 4th, 2007), I have received five calls from this number.  I answer the switchboard for a business, and every time they have hung up as soon as I answered.  VERY annoying!  Since this is a business phone number listed for many people, I have no way of knowing who they are calling for when all they do is hang up.

They have called me every other hour, every day for the past 3 days. On my cell phone and at work. It's very very annoying. My cell number used to be a number for a buisness so when someone calls I ignore it unless I know who it is. But seriously people, leave a message and don't call me at work! RUDE!

I got calls from this number too. Starting this morning at 8:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:00pm. It's just silence and no one talks when I answered. I called back and it's Chase Chard services, and when I ask them the reason for calling, they want my chase acct # and I refused to tell them anything. If it keeps calling, I am going to report to FCC to see what can be done. Obviously this has been bothering many people already.

I am getting calls from the same number.  I do not answer calls from numbers that I don't know and they leave no message.  Because the calls are so numerous I decided to do a reverse lookup which lead me to this page.  Here are the times I have gotten calls:
    04/29 - 1:12; 2:47; 3:22; 4:57; 7:16; 8:27
    04/30 - 8:10; 2:29; 4:08; 4:41; 8:05; 8:36

I'm getting calls from this number at least 4 times a day. They leave no message and I can't figure out why the heck they'd be calling so many times.
I did a search and got here. Anyone know how to block these people?

Its from Chase Bank, you probably are late on a payment. If you don;t have an account with them, call chase or write them to cease calls

I've been getting calls from this number for two days straight! They won't leave a message and if I answer, they refuse to identify themselves. My account is up-to-date so I don't know why they are calling, especially sooooooooo many times!

Holy cow I get a lot of calls from Chase and I see all of you do too. I'm at my wit's end here with Chase. I'll get at least 12 calls today from this number. I am more reluctant to pay because of this terrible abuse. I may answer just to see what this is about but I fear (being a telemarketer myself, sorry guys) that an answer will invoke more calls.

My report is really no different. I have had many missed calls from this number at various times of the day/night with no message left. We can't have cell phones turned on at work and I wondered who kept calling me. A reverse-phone number look-up landed me here at this site.

Stupidity is annoying even in the smallest quantities.  The ppl who have written in an KNOW their payment is late have NO RIGHT to complain about Chase trying to get their money by calling- even if they call a lot.  You borrowed the money now PAY YOUR BILL.  It's that simple- then they stop calling.  Wow, how easy is that?  As for the girl who is 'seriously thinking about switching banks' I am willing to bet they don't give a [***] because you are a DEADBEAT and they don't want customers like you!

I've been getting calls from this number at least 4 times now.  Very annoying!  When I pick it up, they just say something and hang up...  So I did a search on Google and found out that a lot of other people get such call from the same number as well.  I'm eager to find out who is behind these annoying calls.

it's hard to believe you have never been late on a bill.... i guess you just found this blog by luck---thanks for putting us in our place. check out this info:http://www.nedap.org/hotline/fdcpa-recognizing.html

Believe or not---there are FAIR CREDIT LAWS that protects you from being harrased by bill collectors and telemarketers. yes, even for those people who are not able to pay their bills "on time". The collector responsibility is to give you the information about your bill, attempt to collect and  use any information they obtain from the  conversation to help collect the money owed. Once this conversation has taken place, the creditor should not need to keep calling back 5-10 times a day. That IS harassement and illegal. After a few days they can call back and ask the same questions if they have yet to recieved payment.

ref 1-407-771-0887 - I have 2 accounts with Chase.  They aquired the companies which originally issued the cards.  One acct always carries a $0 balance and the other is currently also at zero balance and I got a call today.  They refused to identify themselves and I refused to give them any information until they did.

Someone from this number has called my cell phone the past two weeks everyday.  There are times they've called up to ten or fifteen times.  My cell phone isn't even listed under my name, and the name it is listed under has PERFECT credit.  This is harassment and it should be illegal.

Who is this guy? replies to Duhppl
Who are you?  Can't you read?  Some of these folks return the calls and no one responds. Or they refuse to id themselves.
As to being a deadbeat...not everyone who can't pay their bills is a deadbeat.  There are a lot of folks out there who have lost their jobs and don't have any money to pay the rent much less a bank bill.
Of course you, holier than thou that you are, would  never get laid-off from a job or have some other horror happen.
You will always pay your bills on time no matter what because you are blessed.
    Let's hope you're right!!!!

I get this number on my work line. I don't have accounts with Chase. They have asked for someone who, as far as I can tell, hasn't ever worked here (our HR files go back 15 years).

Yes, they call me too.  What's the most annoying part is, they are all calling from India with English names like Robert or Mark or Mary!!!  This is why Americans are losing their jobs.  They are being shipped overseas to 'Sundar' & 'Rattandeep', I mean Robert & Mary, for less than what we've made.  Then Chase has the nerve to kick our interest rates to 30% and blitz us with phone calls when times are tough.  Most times, their caller ID is listed as 'Unknown'.

And don't get me started on them spending our money on naming rights on the baseball stadium in Phoenix.

I am receiving about 25 calls a week from Chase about credit cards which I do owe.  I have explained my situation to them about 10 times (unemployed, over 65, disabled wife etc..) and they make note of this and then call me again about an hour later.  What can I do to stop this non-sense?  I have explained my situation in detail about plans to pay but they want their money NOW.  Want to know if I can contact my family members, friends or anyone where I can get the money.  Get a third mortgage.  These people are now not getting their phone calls answered.  They are without morals!
