i got a call 8:38 P.M. at 07/07 on my altel cell phone. I answered an they said that they were from kid first, they asked how I was, I said goos but there was no answer. So I hung up. how did they get my cell number.I googled it and this came up.

i guess they are calling everywhere cause im from SD. totaly freaked.

I do not answer calls that I do not know about unless they are local.  I got nailed in the 307 area code (WY).

Live in Kentucky, but have an OH cell no.  Call was from Kids First (a conservative media watchdog group, I suspect).  Offered "free" DVDs.  I was curious.  They are actually free, but not very entertaining, and full of "moral instruction."  Kinda like adult after-school specials, complete with low budget and poor acting.  Though I must admit, one of them had Elisha Cuthbert as a teen, apparently before her pre-soft porn days and her stint as Jack Bauer's whiny daughter.  Interesting.  Expect a follow up "survey," which is their pitch to sell you more of these sappy family-oriented videos.

Got a call from this number google'd the area code and notice the number on this website.... don't know how the crap they got ahold of my number... and why they're calling people from MT and WY?! stupid ass's!

I got the call on my cell phone, asked him how he got this number, he said they are allowed to call any/all combinations of numbers becz they are not selling anything, they are giving things away and went into his little speech. I told him no,he is not going to call my cell and I hung up

Called me on my Alltel phone and hung up just as I answered so I called the # right back. Got the " all agents are busy" message so waited ofr someone to get on the line. Said it wasn't a sales call. Wanted to send me 2 videos "to evaluate" and, would PAY me to do so.
If they're trying to raise funds for some alleged kids charity, they go about it strangely.

I got a call from this number at 8:27 AM Eastern time today.  The person didn't leave a voice-mail and I don't know anyone in New Mexico.  My service is Alltel based in Ohio and I don't have my cell phone listed.

307 Area code here. I'm from Northeastern Wyoming. No clue how they got my Alltel #. The [***]. Telemarketing to cell phones should be illegal.

On my cell phone (alltel) I got this number. I tried to call back, but it was busy! I did not answer when they called.

yep me too ~ they've called several times but I missed it until yesterday while driving.  The guy said something like "this is not a sales call - I just want to ask a few questions for a survey and will send you some free movies"
.. well, I said "hey, talk to the passenger in the car, I'm driving!"  Then the guy told my friend "we want to send people like you in your situation the movies" - and my friend said "how do you know what my situation is?"   The guy hung up on him.  Then we started worrying about it - "is this a scam to get the phone number and make illegal calls from it?"  OH you know how the mind starts getting carried away. lol.  Well, I am glad I found this site - couldn't wait to google it this morning.  Now I know.

got a call around noon. on an alltel 740 cell phone that only five people have the number. answered the phone and they hung up immediately. tried to call back but it was busy everytime.

This number called both of our cell phones.  My husband thought it might be a call from our son who is in the service as they use a relay at times and will come up with odd ball numbers like a church.  We have both of our numbers listed on Do Not Call registry for cell phones.  They called repeatedly to my husbands cell while he was at work.  He cannot answer and he was worried something was wrong with our son.  Jerks!!!

i got the same call on at 2:08 on wednesday. i was at work, and didn't answer. one of my co-workers got the call tuesday at 4:30, and another got a call friday around 3. it's really creepy. i'm from nebraska, and my carrier is Alltel. i also heard some fishy stories on how they could have gotten all our numbers, but i don't know if it's true.

Got a call this morning from that number, didn't call it back.  I usually never answer a number I don't recognize.

Got a call from Jesse at Kids First...something about sending DVDs.  I just hung up.

Sounds like he's made his way from Ohio to Nebraska. Had a missed call this morning at 8:23. Very interesting!!

This call came into my cell phone number, too, and I'm in Wyoming.  He said he just needed 60 seconds of my time and said he wasn't asking for money, and he wanted to send me two free dvds, and wasn't trying to sell me anything.  I asked him how he got my number, he also said they were trying a series of random numbers.  Then he again repeated this thing about Kids First and wanted 60 seconds of my time to explain.  I said he already had had 60 seconds of my time and he hung up.
