- michellei received a call from them at 12h45, was a recorded message telling me they have my credit card info and they can give me better rates. it said press 1 to talk to someone or press 3 to be removed from their list. yeah right. I just hung up.
- MargaretJust got a call offering a credit card. I pressed 1 and got to speak to a "representative". Asked to be removed from call list, he demanded my area code. I told him he must know it, he called me! He angrily demanded my area code again and when I ignored him, got hung up on. I'm in Canada too.
- Dee| 1 replyThey have been calling me repeatedly for the past week. (I am in Canada as well.) I always screen calls from unknown numbers. I finally did a reverse lookup and found out it is a company called MBNA - a banking company which was bought out by Bank of America in 2006. Want to get back at them for all those annoying calls? Here are a few suggestions. You can FAX the Ottawa office at 1-613-907-3501. Or call COLLECT (if you are in Canada to the US NC office) at 1-302-457-2165. Or feel free to EMAIL the person in charge of "Investor Relations" at pamela.black@bankofamerica.com. I hope this helps relieve some of the stress they have caused each of us. Enjoy payback.
- Caller: MBNA Banking (aka Bank of America)

- Meh!I got a call tonight from this number (I live in Canada as well). I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message either. So I came online to do a search for area code 626 and found this site. Crazyness!
- AnnaThey don't leave a message but they call so often ! Je suis vraiment écoeuré de recevoir des appels de ce numéro
- Pete replies to DeeFrom Canada also.
Have been getting mail from MBNA for years and just ignored it. Now I also get the phone calls.
Saw the CNN report about the practices of MBNA and Bank of America and am beginning to understand why the US and the rest of the world is in such a mess. If the big, well known organizations like these are so bad, what have the sleezy ones up to.
They apparently don't want to talk to me or respond to queeries at the numbers you gave - but thanks for the information. They seem to have bled the American system dry and now they are after us to pay for the problems they created. I for one will not deal with them. - SamanthaSame as Meh!. I didn't answer, and I decided to look it up in case it was a friend calling from another cell or something.
They only called here once. - AblesmomMy mom is an unlucky recipient of way too many telemarketers, too, including this one. We're in New Brunswick (Canada). Even though we have our numbers on the new National Do Not Call list, which still gives these people 31 days to remove our numbers, I am going to call and have my Mom's number changed to an unlisted one. My number is listed, just not published in the phone book....it never was...not sure how i got so lucky...but due to this I get a whole lot less telemarketers calling my number.
Hopefully "Micheal" gets hired on at a fast food place and leaves us alone.- Caller: "Michael"

- MattI'm getting sick and tired of this crap! I'm from New Brunswick as well.
- MicheleI missed 3 calls from this number today, but they left no voicemail. I phoned back and "Kenza from the Order Confirmation Department" answered. I asked why they had been calling me & she referenced an order I placed yesterday for a product. She said she wanted to confirm the order and then - after telling me that the remaining part of the phone call would be recorded - told me that they would be sending me an additional, different product on a 30-day approval, and should I choose to keep it, I would be billed only $49.95 per month.
I told her that I didn't want the additional product & she said that if I didn't want it, I could return it within 30 days for my money back. I told her not to send it at all.
She said ok & thanked me for calling.- Call type: Unwanted
- annoyedI get 30 calls a day from this number!! I'm from texas and itsonly 12 pm and they've already called me 8 times this morning. They leave messages with nobody there and when I pick up or call them back, its just an open line. How do I get them to stop calling? Any ideas?? I would hate to change my number. Please help!!!
- ConnieThese people are some of the most vindictive psycho's I have ever encountered. They have called me almost 50 times since yesterday. I have told them not to call me and they still do.
I ordered Dazzle White (BIG MISTAKE) this is a RIP OFF!! and they called me to try to talk me into buying other products, I hung up and then they started this HARASSMENT CRUSADE. DON'T BUY DAZZLE WHITE THEY PUT CHARGES ON YOUR CHARGE CARD WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION.
I called the police department and there is nothing they can do. It seems that the criminals can do anything they want to decent people and get away with it but there is no recourse for when you are being harassed by these companies!!!- Caller: Dazzle White

- MelThey are calling to "validate" a purchase I made yesterday on the internet for teeth whitening gel that I ordered. I called the number back yesterday and they wanted to "validate" my information, then tried to sell me more stuff while my conversation was being recorded. What is up with that? Why does my conversation need to be recorded? I have never been called to validate a purchase online before. I think this is a scam.
