- 703-713-4452Caller said my name. I responded "Yes". They went silent. I asked "Hello?" They stayed silent as I asked a few times. After 20 seconds I just listened. After about 10-15 I heard some background noise where they were as they hung up.
Doing some searching I found this: http://209.85.173.132/search?q=cache:xZMl92pD ... clnk&cd=6&gl=us
which includes this:
Northrop Grumman Corporation
Keith Ward
Director of Enterprise Identity Management
Northrop Grumman
2411 Dulles Corner Park South
Suite 500
Herndon, VA 20171
Phone: (703) 713-4452
Email: k.ward@ngc.com
The company name is very similar to the caller ID ("Northrop Grumman" vs "Groman Data Sys").
Looking at Northrop Grumman they are a military/intelligence company. One of their offices definitely seems to include the phone number in their PABX block.
Taking a look back at the source of the address/number I see the person is on the board of directors for FiXs whose charter is "coalition of commercial companies, government contractors...mission is to establish and maintain a worldwide, interoperable identity and cross-credentialing network...verifies and authenticates the identity of personnel seeking to enter U.S. military installations and other government-controlled areas".
What the???
I'm baffled, curious, and mildly concerned.- Caller: Northrop Grumman Corporation
- VerizonVerizon owns the phone number and it is no longer associated with Northrop Grumman Corporation or any of its employees. Verizon has traced the call and it's a Comcast Service provider that is transmitting these harassing calls. Comcast is aware of this illegal activity and will be investigating with security.

- Well replies to SilverHeels| 1 replySame thing here. They called at 5:30 AM Female asked for me by my full name then hung up. Sounds like some phone verification scam
- kpatelseo replies to WellI think, this is name/phone verification job, performed by some company. They hire telecaller, give them a database of person name and telephone no. Telecaller call the form and confirm that the phone no and the person name is right.
For low cost data entry services visit http://www.dataentryatindia.com - BPCThe caller called at 1:52 Eastern Standard Time on 12/15/08. Rang multiple times. Called back and said it was a non-working number
- madI had 2 missed calls on my cell phone from 703-713-4452. Then person called me on my home phone. When answered, person with Indian accent asked for me by name and then hung up.
I filed a police report and I plan to take further action. I am on the DO NOT CALL list and they must pay a fine for dialing me. - do not call listIf you are registered with the DO NOT CALL LIST....go to donotcall.gov and file a complaint. (if you aren't registered-then do so)
the number 703-713-4452 is probably being routed from another country and I am not sure what they are doing with our information. But, please report them. The more complaints they receive the more likely action will be taken. - scami found out from Verizon that there is a way to make it look like the 703-713-4552 number is calling us...but it's really not. they use a program like Skype to make it appear as thought that's the number. When it could even be a call from outside this country. it is some type of verification company. I do not know what they are using our name and information for. I have a feeling that the company FIXS has something to do with this. This is a service that they are able to perform.
It's some type of scam. I am going to continue to dig deeper.- Caller: unknown but says northropgrumman corp
