Now I know what this number is and what I need to do.   I like the licking balls story. Mind if I use that one???

Yes they started calling me today and they called once and I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message and two hours later they called again and I answered and they asked to speak to me and I said yes this is her and then they said that I was approved for a credit card and I said no thanks and I hung up.

I rcv a call today. They explained all the incentives and when they asked for rout/acct # i asked why. He said it was to verify the bank is legit, ensure the acct is in good standing and to see if the person writes bad checks, or if they'd be the type to max out the credit and make a withdrawal. 1st of all that doesn't matter. there's no reason to 'delegate' what a person does with their line of credit. 2nd, when asked for the acct #, I told him the rout # is an identifier, that should be enuff...why not ask for a bank statement? I said there's no reason to want my acct # not knowing who the hell you are or where the you're at. To ALL telemarketers, solicitors AND BILL COLLECTORS...YOU ALL NEED TO HAVE YOUR BOOTY-HOLES SUPER-GLUED SHUT, DUCT TAPED, GIVEN 2 BOXES OF DIAHHREA CHOCOLATES AND PRUNE JUICE...AND AFTER THE "FIREWORKS"...KICKED IN @$$ WITH A CACTUS-COVERED MILITARY STEEL-TOED BOOT WORN BY SHAQUILLE O'NEAL !! Can you feel me now???

I too was called by this company and after reading all the above comments I'am glad I did not answer the call. They do not leave a message , this is evidently a bunch of crooks looking for people that will give out there bank information and they use that information for there on gains,

This CFFA 727-683-0725 on my caller ID keeps calling and when I answer, I hear people talking and then they hang up.

I spoke with a guy who asked if i wanted to rebuild my credit and then hung up. I tried the # several times and was unsuccessful in getting anyone.

CFFA began calling a week ago but because I didn't know who it was I haven't answered. After reading online other comments about this phone number I am concerned about my information that may be online when I was inquiring about a loan and or credit card? Should I be?

Yes they called me today all the same stuff they said to all of you I told them that i needed to talk it over with my husband.

I registered this number at www.donotcall.gov 4 weeks ago, and I just got another phone call.

They called and I answered and they asked for my husband but never once asked me to take a message and have him call them back.

I recieved a phone call offering me a credit card, for rebuilding credit.  I asked how they got my number and name, they stated that they got it from a financial institution that had turned me down. He then said all I needed was to be 18 and have a valid checking account. I told him yes, he then started to tell me that he would be sending my card to my address, I stopped him and said I never said I wanted the card. He got real snotty and said well then when you decide you want to, call me back. I asked for his number and he said, you have caller ID don't you? I said no, he then gave me this number to call back..1-800-682-1923.  He's pretty stupid, all I did was *69 and I got the number.

They called my cell phone last night, no message - they have now called twice today again no message.

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past two months, although my number has been on the Do Not Call Registry since May.  I never answer when I see this number, however, it is VERY, VERY annoying.  I struggle with wanting to answer the phone and threaten the caller or letting it go to voicemail.  I always let it go to voicemail simply because I don't want to deal with these people.  Tonight, I went to http://www.donotcall.gov to file a complaint, but was unable because the field(s) where you enter the caller's info was missing.  I will keep visiting the site to see if it changes.  

My advice to anyone else who receives calls from these pricks is to record the number, let the call go to voicemail, and please DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFO!!!

I received a call on my cell phone (also on the do not call list) at exactly 9pm. The man asked me if this was my name, I said yes and they hung up. When I called right back the phone rang 20 times and no answer or no voicemail picked up. The only reason I picked up was my young adult sons live in that area code and I thought it might be them calling from a friends house.However what you are describing in some of these other posts matched a similar contact I had with this company called Platinum Benefits Group. Don't know if CCFA is the same but someone can check it out! The man from Platinum  benefits asked for the same info as describe in the other posts. However they did not have my cell phone number they called on my AOL phone number.

please pay attention to this, i have received several calls over the last days here in phoenix az from this CFFA, if you look up what a CFFA is on the internet you find out it is a licened forensic criminal accountant, according to yahoo.com. Based on your entries for this number and personal experiences i believe this is a criminal ring that needs to be brought to the attention of the florida attorney generals office. I am going to see what can be done from the phoenix end.

if you get anymore calls about this number, i recommend tracking them and document everything for a running record.
