Hi: I don't know who it is.

Called number after recieving automated v-mail at home phone with my name included however little information on why they wanted me to call them back. Called them back and got Tom. Asked if I was the persons name at that number with last 4 digits of social security being **** and whether I lived at a certain address and I said no. Asked if i had a sears account at one time and I said I closed it 5 years ago and the name with my prior Sears account was my prior maiden name. Said they must have gotten wrong information from their source. They will take me off their list. Confused? Well, yes I am still confused beings that I did a credit check 6 months ago and I have no uncollected debt and excellent credit rating from all 4 credit bureaus. HHMMM? Will see if they stop calling.

They are looking for someone who had my phone number 6 years ago.
I don't know how to make them stop calling me. Have reported this to the National Do Not Call Registry.

they call me up to 6 times a day I got 2 calls back to back. Called the number she said they had called once which was allowed because my hubby owed a debt. I hung up and before I could even get my hand down from the  phone, you guess it, they called again. They never leave a message they hang up when the answering machine comes on.

They've been calling for 2 weeks. This morning I told them I reported them to the police, the BBB and the National Do Not Call Service.

they asked if my "wife" was home, and that she owed approximately 9000 dollars in debt(did not catch exact amount) and that if she returned the call she would have a help. 5 minutes later after hanging up  they called back again. I am currently waiting for the third call and going to respond in my native language and hope they leave me alone. wish me luck

hi i would like to know what they said after you told them that you reported them to the BBB and to the police because i also got a call from them.

We continue to get calls from these people ,they hang up when the answering machine picks up and normally dont say anything if I answer the phone. Today they contacted my husband on his cell phone and got very rude stating they needed to collect an old debt. My husband informed them we did not owe any debt.He began being beligerent with my husband ,so my husband gave it right back to him.He left a number of 1-800-732-6606 ext 2551.We tried to call this number and the recording said they were closed.If they do not stop calling us I will simply return the favor by making a habit of calling every time i get a chance each day all day!. I am also going to report them to the BBB along with the Attorney Generals office.

I also reported this to the Pennsylvania Do Not Call Registry. To my surprise, I got a letter back from the PA Office of the Attorney General stating that they would investigate. After about 10 days, I stopped getting calls !
Today I got a follow up letter that they had contacted Vital Recovery who has now closed this account as "Wrong Party". Had to laugh - Vital mis-spelled my name and had a notation on the letter 'Via MIAL'.  

If you have a State Do Not Call number, please register it with them. It may have helped that I included a record of every call date and time. Hope you have as good a result as I did with PA.

FYI, the letter from Vital Recovery is signed by Richard M. Hughes, Compliance Manager (probably a fake name).

I get several calls a day for a person that doesn't live at my house.  This has been going on for months.  I finally listened to get their number and called them back to see who it was and asked them not to call any more but the person on the other end of the phone got very nasty and said they would keep calling until the person they wanted called them back.  I feel I am being harassed.  I am a senior citizen with no bills and am on the PA do not call registry.

These people started calling me at 7:30 EST this morning. No message was left. So... one call at 7:30, then again 10 min. later, then another one 5 min. after that. No calls until this evening starting at 6:00 pm and calling every 15 minutes. Again, no message was left. Sheesh!!!!!

Please report them to the FCC.  I did.  I hope they do something about them.  I have had the same problem!!!!!  These people are so very rude and demanding.  I don't know who they are talking about and they won't quit!!!!

I can't believe this fly-by-night company is in business!! What they are doing is totally ILLEGAL!! They are calling me on my senior citizens fathers alleged car debt from 5 years ago, and he is now in a retirement home.

these people call ten times a day for anthony barella   drives me nuts. i would do anything for them to stop calling

I've been getting calls from these people for months. First, the calls and letters were addressed to William *********, who hasn't lived here in at least 10 years, if ever. When I finally got ahold of someone regarding this person, the calls stopped briefly. Within a couple weeks however, they started calling for another unknown person. Once that got straightened out, a month or so went by, and suddenly I'm getting notices in my name. I had my credit run 17 days ago, and nothing remotely similiar to this "debt" came up. I tried to call today, and my first call got a "We're sorry, but the number...." message. A few minutes later I hit redial, and got a voicemail box that was... you guessed it, FULL. Strange, however, that the settlement they're offering is just short of my fed. tax rebate. I think they're a scam.

Get a recorded message asking for Randy B..., if not this person hang up, if this person select 1, etc.  Have gotten about two to three calls in the past 30 days.

I have had my current pbone number for two years.  I continue to get calls from 800-732-6606 for a party who apparently had my number before I did.  I cannot get them to quit calling!!!

I started receiving calls from this number about a month ago. They never leave a message and when I answer the call they hang up or I can just hear music or people talking in the back ground. I have called the number back a few times and all I get is a message that they are closed or some other stupid message. Does anyone klnow how to stop these calls?
