I received on average 2-3 calls from this number a day. I answered once and it was the Kansas City Star asking if I wanted to resubscribe. I declined. They still continue to call daily and it is very frustrating.

"The Kansas City Star" has been trying to call our business for two days.  They hang up before we answer because this is a robocall.  My phone system no longer rings on the caller's end.  It plays a recorded message instead.  Still, though, there have been at least 6 in the last 24 hours.  How annoying. It's too bad, too, because The Star is a good newspaper.

Try calling or leaving a message for the VP of Advertising.  Tim Doty's contact information can be found on the Kansas City Star web page.  Although I have copied that here, please verify this information and get his e-mail address from their web page.

Unfortunately, or fortunately for Tim, his home number is not listed, else I would call him each time the KC Star calls me.

Update:  Calling Tim Doty, the Vice President of Advertizing, was successful.  Although Tim did not call me back, I did receive a call to address this.

Of interest is that they reviewed the logs of the recent "robo calls" that were made to me, and when asked if calling every 2 or 3 days and multiple times per day seemed excessive, they responded, "No."

816-329-5100  Good Luck!!!!  This is the number for KC Star Sales.  Don't bet your life or hold your breath that the calls will stop.

Calling down there sounds as though you are speaking to a kindergarden, make that pre-kindergarden play room.  I went through 3 levels of "management" this evening to make certain that the calls stop.

Very little faith that this will occur.

Will cancel my subscription to this KC Star tomorrow.

Calls are coming from -816-482-3217- Men and women with an Indian accent-threating a law suit

I've asked them at least 10 times over the past 2 years to stop calling.  They just called again.  This is why I refuse to buy their paper!

Kansas City Star Circulation Department: 816-329-5100  Recently, for a very short time, I subscribed to the Kansas City Star newspaper.  Upon cancelling the subscription, they called numerous times, never leaving a message.  

I followed the instructions of a previous poster: To get the Star to stop calling, call 1-877-962-STAR (7827) and push 0 to talk to an operator.

I just made the call and hope it will stop them from calling.  Good Luck!

Thank you so much for the information.  These people have been calling daily for three months.  I got put on their no call list.  I will never buy or read the Kansas City Star again.

These people have been calling daily for over three months.  I finally called their office and threatened them with legal action.  I will never have anything to do with the Star again.  It is like stepping in something.  You just can't get it off of your shoe.  I cannot understand why a company like that would create so much ill will among the people.  It is so disrespectful.

Calls twice a day for over a year.  When I pick up, the phone hangs up.

When they keep calling and you get on the no call list I think they should lose their phone services for good. We pay for our phones and this is how people get scammed all the time.......Congress is always wanting to control everything why not these people?

They have called my cell my home and my husband's phone every day for over 3 years! When I do answer it hangs up on me! I called back many times, and also got "all reps are busy" so tonight I waited.... and FINALLY got a person on the phone.
She tells me it's an auto-dialer and will always call until a live person is reached, but she'd be happy to take me off the call list... gee thanks only took 3 years....

Robo call: "Please hold for an exciting offer by the Kansas City Star. An agent will be with you shortly."

I returned from a vacation and found my caller ID log filled up by calls from this number, such that I could only see calls going back for part of the time I was gone. They called twice on the day I got back, first to wake me up, and the second time I answered it. I told the guy why all these calls pissed me off and asked if I could be placed on their do not call list. He said I could, I thanked him for doing so, and hanged up.

The kc star called me 5 times today to tell me about some special they were having.  just an automated voice
