    Hello,
Did you ever pay the money?  I received the same calls and my situation sounds just like yours and it's very concerning to listen to them; especially in being so rude and abrupt.

You are right, all my information was verified as accurate; therefore my mind began to wonder, how in the world I do not have anything outstanding. Do you have any suggestions/advice?  I should close the account, right as this may be the best option?

    I appreciate your assistance!

I am too, a victim of this scam and I pray its not too late!! I received a phone call on Friday July 3 from a "Jeffery" he crused me as well with his Indian dilect, and proceeded to tell me I would be arrested as well as the references on my application for loan with cashnet express. I panicked and told him I had no debt with cashnet express or his law firm so he proceeded to tell me there would be no other alternative than to have me arrested for internet fraud because I was refusing to pay my bill. He told me I needed to fax a letter stating I would pay the amount due collection fees and promise to pay on Monday July 6 since the banks were closed for the Holiday. I was terrified, I had applied for payday loans before but this name did not sound at all familar, so I did fax a notarize letter to "714-845-0766' stating I would pay if this was my debt. On Monday Cashexpress and my bank stated I did not have this deposited in my account so I ignored the harassing phone calls all day. I did research over the weekend to find this was an ironous company and a vast wide spread scam over the states. The names they used were: Bob Austin, Gary Brown, and "Jeffery" which all were hard to understand with there distinct western accents. Please let me know if there is anything they can do to me since I sent them that notarized letter. Scared to death in Tennessee

I too got that same messege...so woman named "Jennifer Davis", VERY arab accent, called me telling me that I owed 300 dollars and that the police would be out to my house in the morning to arrest . After doin some research, which didn't take long, I found that they are pulling this scam all over the US. I called them back and was told that nothing could be done, and after collecting info about them, I called them back to get thier names. The second I told them I had called the FCC and was going to call the FBI after I got all the names, she hung up on me. After I called back to ask the name of the "law firm", it had already changed to Crime Monitoring Division...

These people began calling me on 7/21/09.  At first it was a woman and I cannont remember the name she used.  She was obviously of foreign descent because her accent was so thick I could barely understand her.  I told her not to call me at work and hung up on her.  She called back twice after that.  I told her I would call her later.  She called back the next day 7/22/09.  I told her she was harrasing me and not to call me at work any longer.  I hung up on her and the "supervisor attorney" Steve Austin called back.  I was very sucspicious at this point because a middle eastern man named Steve Austin, I mean come on.  He told me if I did not pay him $1350 by 5 pm he would contact my supervisor and show up at my employment the next day and have me arrested.  He stated he had already contacted the police department to file a warrant for my arrest.  I was supicious of this man and somewhat afraid of his threats.  I was worried about losing my job.  I contacted an attorney friend of mine who immediately called BS.  He reassured me this was against the law, it was harrasement and not to pay them a dime.  He said he was going to contact this Steve Austin himself.  Meanwhile I actually got a hold of someone at the legitimate Cashnet business and I spoke with an American named Chris.  The balance I owe is much less than the "Steve Austin attorney" told me.  This Chris said he had never even heard of this man.  So my fears were reassured.  My attorney friend called back and told me to tell this company that they would not be receiving a dime from me.  He told me to tell them that I had already contacted the police department to file a report, that I had contacted the actual merchant, and the attorney general for my state.  He told me to be very mean and firm and let them know they were full of total BS and I wasn't buying it.  He said once you do that they will remove you from their list because they know they can't get you.  I waited for "Stevie boy" to call me back after 5.  When he did I let him have it. I told him he was full of [***] and that I had pesonally spoken with the sherrif in my town, my attorney, the attorney general, and the real merchant.  I told him if he called again I would have him arrested for harrasment and attempted defrauding.  I hung up on him and have not heard back from him.  This was about 5:30 pm yesterday 7/22/09.  I just now tried to call the number he gave me 818-451-4035. It rang and rang and then I got a busy signal.  Looks like they have already stopped using this number.  Do not fall for this, they are scammers.  While he did have all my info, I have changed bank accounts and put a fraud alert on my credit bureau.  I am just so happy to not have fallen for this scam.

Today I recieve a phone call from a Kevin Foster with a heavy Indian accent. Confused on what was going on I asked him to please slow down because I could not understand him. He then yelled at me and said let me read your complaint and then you talk. Confused and scared I allowed him to read the complaint. I being a per-law student realize that something was fishy about this. How could they be issuing a warrant when I was never served with a complaint. I never received a letter regarding a defaulted loan. Mr. Kevin Foster then inform me that I would have to $1099 today or a sheriff would show up to my house to pick me up tomorrow. I asked him if they could be a payment arranged and he said no. I began to freak out I know I paid all my payday loans, how could be arresting me tomorrow. I began to do some research because this just didn't add up. I came across some wedsite and they're one particular one that help me paydayloaninfo.org. They inform you on the statutes, what loaner are allow to charge you on interest, etc. Mr. Foster wanted me to fax over a letter to 714-845-0766 with my credit card information, social security number, address and it was very important that I put my signature. At that point I got fed up and hung up. They have called me 4 times within the 2 hours. I will be reporting them. This is outrageous.

I received two calls at my job yesterday demanding payment from this company loan that I never heard of before.  The man was of muslim decent and could not speak good english, he threated me about going to jail and court if I didn't pay this by 2:00pm that afternoon.  So I went home from work and call the police about harrassing call from this person so I can stop them from calling my job. I ask him for the # to this company he said that I owed and he gave me his same # for them. So, I knew it wasn't real.

All I have to say is thank you!! I hope these people are caught and prosecuted..in any country widely known for less than humane interrogations.
I wonder if the people working for them think this is a legit business.

Keep calling, keep changing the name of their company -- all related to huge First National Bank scam, foreign country-- Tri Financial, CNE, BRewers and Michaels, llc, all the same SCAM people and companies.  They talk a lot of trash, can't do anything to you...no legitimate collection agency or company of any type and certainly not a law office would approach people in this manner and break so many laws while doing so!!
    Don't ever give them money.

Anonymous Individual Wanting To Keep The
I was contacted by this so-called individual myself but all I remember about this call was the 818 area code and the message told me to contact a "Joseph Samuel" as well.  When I called to ask who they were they said they were the Cyber Crimes Unit before this they threatened me with subpoena, said they were going to take me to court for over $5,000 and I was going to be criminally charged according to my state laws. When I contacted my attorney the attorney advised me to go to local law enforcement who said it was a "civil matter and not a police matter." The individual who contacted me had an accent, talked fast, and on the first call refused to I.D. their firm. On the second call was when I obtained that they were the "Cyber Crimes Unit". I have alerted all my friends. These people had my bank's name, my name, my telephone number as well.

I just received a phone call from this same company but they are now using a Texas number, (713) 481-5091.  First I spoke with a guy named Sam Walters then when I called back and asked for a manager they connected me to a guy named Ryan.  They told me I had an 11am court appearance the next day and they were sending legal officers to my residence to pick me up.  I googled the company and all this information came up.  I'm so glad I didn't back down or give in to any of their false threats.  I have already put in a phone call to consumer affairs and will be contacting the Attorney General for IL.
