I too called my dealer about being harrassed, he said it wasn't them and I asked .. then how did they get my cell# (I leave this number when I have the car in for service)?

did not answer - from reading the complaints it sounds like the recall work that I had done 11-10-09 on my vw, they were trying the same with me and the VW dealership in Irving, TX gave them my number.

This number has called me several times over the last week or more. I never answer, and they never leave a message. I took my VW Jetta in for repairs in Sept-Oct (not to a dealership) so maybe that's how they got my number.

Receiving calls daily.  They leave no messages.  Thank you to everyone that posted here that they drive VWs - I do too.  I called my dealership and asked the service mgr if they in fact use "Peak Performance" and he stated that they do.  I told him I didn't want my phone # passed onto them.  He said he would call them and have my name/# removed.  I also called them myself (you get only their answering machine, no human) and left a message to remove my number from their list.

As a follow-up to my previous post, I just received another call from the number.  I picked up and heard a message stating they were calling on behalf of my VW dealership (naming them specifically) and it said if I no longer wanted to receive calls, to press "1".  Then, I had to enter and confirm my telephone #.  Hopefully this is the end.

Thanks to all of you for posting. Called on Saturday evening at 5:19 pm. I went through this last year with them calling repeatedly from a different number and am giddy to report that I now have call block with my phone provider. I have a 2000 VW Jetta well beyond the warranty period. I took it in for service - the worst scam I ever had at this dealership might I add - about 6 months ago. As an aside, I received a phone call today from a place called "New Mags" 626-207-9132 and since it was only 2 days since the "service" number called, I looked it up and another look up board, a few people got calls from the 818 number AND 626 number. Just a heads up.
