Caller never leaves message.

I don't know who these idiots are but I'm sick of them!  If I don't call a phone number up about something, then I'm not interested in their services or what ever.  If they're that unstable they have to call people on the phone to drum up business, they don't need to be open.  They'll go a few days without calling, then they think they have to make up for it by picking a day to call & call me hr after hr not leaving any messages on my answering machine.

Did anyone else here request business information before the calls started? Just trying to figure out how they got my #.

I been getting these type of calls for over a year.  Most of the time if yoiu answer the phone, no one talks to you.  I have found that if you don't say anyting for a few seconds, the callers are more likely to be on the line.  Not sure why.

I just talked to a person and it was a similar sales pitch.  "Hi, I'm with Platinum Rewards and I'm calling about a recent purchase on your credit card ending with xxxx.  I have a $200 gift card for you and I wanted to verify your mailing address.  Are you still at xxxxx ..."

I asked the guy what "Platinum Rewards" is and he said that I had done some busienss with a business partner of theirs and the partner gave them my info.  I believe, but have no proof, that they really get this info off the web by intercepting web pages or emails in transit that have your name, address, phone number and the last 4 digits of your credit card number.  They then pass this on to a call center to harrass us with these anoying phone calls. I wish I know how to stop them.

I'm having the same experience with this number.

I keep getting calls on my cell from 866-599-4857 and it's costing me money.

866 599 4857  calls me EVERYDAY at around 9 am. Sometimes it is hard to hear them, but when you can hear them they are ALWAYS asking for Karen when there is no karen at my number. I tell them to stop but they swear at me and say they want to talk to karen so i swear back and hang up. When you call the number back nothing happens, except for one time i did get through. I asked for Karen this time and the person on the other line didn't know what to do and asked someone else what to do and i could hear them in the background yelling "HANG UP!" which he did   and they still continue to call. Now i just like to pick up and bug them, by saying weird things.

I got a call from this number numerous times a day numerous days in a row and wouldn't answer because I didn't recognize it. My phone would always say there wasa voicemail left from it and when I would check it would be blank. So, one day I decided to answer and it is some lady offering me a $200 gift card and knew the last four digits of one of my credit cards and my address and called themselves Platinum Rewards. It seemed fishy since the credit card number they had does not have any kind of reward program once so ever. I told her I wasn't interested and she said "Thank you" and hung up. Usually people would stay on the phone and say something like "Sir, this is a $200 gift card from using your card" or something like that. Use caution.

Me too...I have a cell phone so it's wasting my mins.

I am being called daily by the number. My phone is and has been on the do-not-call list. Plus  my number is a cell phone. I have spoken several times to supervisors and requested that my number be removed. THis has been going on since mid-2008.

Please report this number, I do not want it to call me any longer.

Actually it is a crime. Telemarketers are not suppose to be calling after five p.m.. Apparently they have found more sneaky ways to skirt the law. It is time the phone companies stop giving numbers to these creatins. Maybe the next step will be to start fining the phone company?

I called back and got a recording that the number was disconnected or out of service. The recording was suspicous, it did not sound like an actual phone company recording there was a lot of static in the recording. It will be interesting if I get another call from this number tomorrow. Maybe it is time to start fining the phone company for allowing these scam artist to clog the phone lines and use up other peoples minutes. Afterall when the post office was looking at getting fined for chain letters many years ago, they kicked themselves into high gear and remedied the situation. When was the last time you got a chain letter? This is just another scam using technology in hopes to get your money. We need to lean on the phone company to find these scam artist and put them out of business.

I Googled the number and came up with Kipany Productions LTD. and Creditors Interchange Inc. I have called the number back tonight and instead of the recording saying the number is disconnected I got a recording that the number is incorrect or dialed wrong, but it was the right number 866-599-4857 and it was dialed right as I redialed it from the number that appeared on my cell phone. There is something very rotten about this number and both those companies are located in New York.
