    This number started calling me this past Sunday (3/29/09) and they have not stopped since. Like described elsewhere, if I answer, there isn't anyone there and they never leave a voice message; calls at least four times a day from about 8 AM until 8 PM. I called back a few days ago to verify the company name on the recording (World Financial Bank or something like that). I do not currently have or have I ever had any account with any of the companies I've seen associated with this number and/or WFCB. I've since checked my credit report to make sure there hasn't been fraudulent activity and there hasn't. My number is on the Do Not Call list, and I file a complaint each time they call. Yesterday morning after the second or third call of the day, I called back, pressed "0" repeatedly until I was connected with a CSR named Kevin who requested an account number. I told him I didn't have an account with them and to stop calling me. He was extremely smug and offered no help, but at least now I can say I've requested the calls stop when I file complaints. I would urge everyone receiving calls from this number to register their number and file a complaint each time they call on donotcall.gov.

    I've also started receiving calls from 913 563-5551, which, if not obvious enough, is the same company as I called back and heard the same recording. These are less frequent, but are no less annoying.

    I have recieved 5 missed calls from this number in 6 hours.  They never leave a message and no one was on the phone when answered.

    I placed an order with Blair, received it and paid for it
    but they keep billing me for some $15 monthly fee.  I called them and wrote them to cancel my account and stop
    calling me but they still call me on my cell phone while i am at work.  Still they call.

    They call just about every hour using a robotic dialer along with a recording using an english or british accent as if this is supposed to merit more attention than an american accent.
    When and if there is an available operator available to have the call routed to their lttle cubicle you're treated to a rude ignorant twit that is incapable of understanding the concept of the bill was paid apparently their computer system is not connected to the one that process's the payments and will not take your word on it that the bill has been payed and would have been payed ontime if only they had included the payment address in their original billing.
    It makes no sense to me that they wouldn't include this helpful info if they wanted the payment made on time unless you factor in the that if the payment is late they have the right to charge a penalty and raise the interest rate for late payments resulting in a larger balance to be paid off later.
    Companies that play games like these are not likely to get my business in the future and I plan to tell as many people as I know about these practices as I possibly can and suggest you do the same, hopefully if enough people find out they will go out of business.
    As far as this collection agency goes they don't stay on the line long enough to get an address to mail out a cease and decist letter to stop them from calling you at all hours of the day.
    Incedently my mom has paid them on time untill last months bill came without the return mailing address in less than a months time the phone calls started it just seems a short time to put an account into collections.

    I am receiving calls from this company every day.  I don't have an acct with them and my credit cards are paid off.  Is there anyway to stop this company from harrassing me early in the morning and all during the day?

    1)Calls, I/we answer, no one speaks, hangs up,
    2)Calls, I/we answer, where we then 'talk-to-tone'
    3)Calls, no one at home, answering machine picks up,they hang up,      
    4)Calls, no one at home, answering machine picks up, asking to leave a message, they hang up

    The caller ID displays the number and WFCB. Being I don't know who/what/where WFCB is, I have to make an unnecessary long distance call to see who this is that keeps calling.  Upon questioning them, they were somewhat elusive with their mixed-answers.

    How and/or why is this allowed to continue with nothing done in a timely manner, to actually penalize these individuals and/or their company. I would never, ever consider doing any person like this, regardless of job  jeopardy, or as a private citizen. Reap what you Sow!

    Hello, OK this is what I did, I called the number you have and of course Mr. H. was in a meeting...duh. I told the person who answered I was getting calls from their number and I had just been issued this "NEW" number and she had it removed from thier list!!! Good luck guys.

    WFCB=World Financial Capital Bank. They service Blair credit cards (among others).

    Lucky for me I did not update my phone # with them, when I had it changed, or I would be undergoing the same harassment you guys are going through, as I lost my job last Spring. I almost have them paid off, though.
