i got a call from an automated service and was put through to a representative. i believe these guys to be scam artists who steal credit card numbers. i asked the guy for an address and he put me on hold for about 20 min and then i hung up

I also just got a call from this number. When I asked what this was in reference to he stated that it was for visa or MasterCard. asked about my payment frequency. I told him that i don't have either of those cards and he hung up....

Recording from United Debt offering a better rate on credit card debt. Hit 9 to speak to a representative, when I told him I didn't want them to call he hung up on me.

I got a call from this number as well.  No message left (as I don't answer while I'm at work) so I'm assuming its a recording/telemarketer.

I got a call from this number, first it played an automated message saying  it was "Card Services" and that they are calling to lower my credit card rate to 6.99%.

I pressed 9 to speak with a representative.   When I got the representative, I asked what credit card they were calling about.  He told me that they "work with all 520" credit card companies.  I then understood that he did not work for one of my credit card companies.  I asked him "generally" how do you make money?  They said their fees are paid by the fact that the interest rate is lowered.  This implies that I would pay their fees.

I then asked, do your services require that I give you my personal information?  He said yes, and that is when I knew it was a scam.  I told him that I was not interested and hung up the phone.

NEVER give out any personal information over the phone!

Thanks for all the info---i jsut recd a call from them but didnt answer...my Caller id on my cell phone said Massachusetts....its odd...

ive gotten several calls from this company. all they do is hang up right away if you show no interest in using there services. they dont even call my house phone, its on my cell.  they are a scam and the people that work for this company are the worse because they obviously know this otherwise they wouldnt hang up. this needs to stop. if anyone finds anything out please contact me at ldmello2007@yahoo.com they keep calling, its harassment.

why do they keep calling? ive gotten dozens of calls from them. and when you tell them you're not interested they hangup, then when they call back, if you ask to speak to someone they hang up. can you be anymore obvious its a scam. next time, im gonna go ahead but not give out any info. im gonna tell them to screw themselves.

Just received a call from this number on my business line through a major cell phone carrier. Couldn't answer as I was in a meeting, but no voicemail... hopefully they don't call again. I'd never seen this number, so I googled it and found this blog.

Watch out. They seem to be calling frequently in the last 30 days...

Weird i just got a call from this number too (on my cell), I didnt answer it since i dont answer unrecognized numbers(i figure that if its important they will leave a message)I also google search the number if i dont recognize it.

2nd time I've been phoned from this number. Never answered. I love that I can type the number in google and find this. How are they getting our cell phone numbers is the question. Is it possible that our carriers profiting from the sale of our numbers?

I just received a phone call with an automated message that said I was receiving this call because they are a company who can lower my interest rates to as low as 6% and if I was interest in learning more, I should press option 9 after the message; it also indicated that this woould be the last time I would be receiving this offer (by the way, it was also the first time) I pressed option 9 because I was curious how they got my information...and since I had just paid off all of my credit cards in Sept 09, it didn't really make sense to me that I was receiving this call now as opposed to a year ago when I actually did have about $10K in debt Once a rep got on the line (and I had to wait at least 90 seconds), I asked which card of mine they were calling about, and of course they were not specific....the rep only indicated that they work with all VISA & Mastercards......I pressed on but instead of getting answers, I was asked "How much credit card do you have?" And when I answered with $107 (just made a purchase this past weekend!), that's when he hung up. Pretty unsettling. How are they getting our cell phone numbers?

Just received this call.  Recorded message from "cardholder services", hung up.

i think someone should call the police,I am going to report this to them and maybe the news.

the man said, to get your name off this calling list you need to "talk dirty" to me. there must be a way to end these calls,and end this harrasment.

I just got a call at 4:08 pm, they didn't leave a message but I didn't know who it was so I googled this number.  I agree with all the above posts... this is ridiculous!
