It's hilarious. Was it a real telemarketer or an actor?

Awesome! I couldn't stop laughing... Almost tempted to take my name off the "Do Not Call List" just to play with these people. Unfortunately... they make very little at their job unless they make a sale. I used to ask them about themselves and how they feel about people hating them for calling. Some of the stories I got were unreal! They actually would thank me and say "have a nice day" or whatever, totally forgetting why they called. I'm sure their supervisors were thrilled with them!

I am sure they pushed the mute button and were actually calling you names.

R-O-F-L-M-A-O  Hilarious doesn't even come close.  Great Stuff, thanks for the laugh.  I have had this same company call me, too.  It is what makes this prank so much sweeter than it is to hear.  Two thumbs up ... and a do it again.

I'm so obese, I have to stand up during my shift as I can't fit into the standard size cubicle.

I couldn't stop laughing myself...but that is nice of you to be courteous to some telemarketers because they are after all just doing their job. I am a salesperson myself who deals with strangers a lot so I appreciate people like you, but some of us really need something like this.

I'm sorry to pop your bubble, but we make a lot more than you make in a week. Telemarketers make from 500-2000 dollars per week just calling you people, that's the easiest job there is that pays so good. Why would we feel bad about calling people like you? You guys are the ones that buy stuff from companies that sell your information. That's the only way you get us to call you. Your phone number costs about a dollar. I've never had a telemarketer ever call me because I actually don't buy stupid s**t off the internet or over the TV. And one last thing, a telemarketing supervisor makes about 3000-4000 dollars a week. That's more money than a lawyer makes per year! And all they do is walk around and yell lol. And people like that man on the phone that was messing with the telemarketer, that's entertainment to me. It does get boring sitting in front of a computer talking all day, so usually that's our entertainment (: so you guys can hate on us, but while your doing that, were out here making thousands.

and this video was hilarious, I completely loved it!!!!

what bubble is it that you think you are bursting?  do you really believe anyone would actually envy you, regardless of how many ill- acquired thousands you are paid?  i wonder if any amount of money could compensate for the knowledge that you are a pathetic cog in an industry that has utterly no redeeming value.  you are a bottom feeder.; a loser, it doesn't matter how much money you make.

If... I ever need a good lawyer I definatly won't use any of the ones you know... Hey!... Grt some facts about how much lawers make in a year, then get your bottom-sucking lips to speaking the truth for a change. Apparently you've told so many lies over the span of your career, as a tele-marketer...you really wouldn't know it if it kicked you in your donut exspulser! Get a life or go back to your desert and bomb-making!!

Um no they don't 2 of my friends worked telemarketing they make 250 a week unless they make sales then they bring 350 a week  the supervisor is also a friend and he makes 500-700 a week another friend works selling time shares and he doesn't make that much a week. none of them have brought home 1000 bucks.

I've actually worked as both (telemarketer and lawyer).  I made FAR more as a lowly legal intern than I ever did as a telemarketer. (About double, in fact.)  As a telemarketer, you get paid minimum wage, maybe a little more if you're lucky, and you have to take abuse all day.  No thanks.  And I don't know what telemarketing company YOU work/ed for, but I'll bet that if you were making $1,000 a week, they're probably broke by now.
