It is definitely IC Systems. Reverse search via Whitepages.com shows it as a personal number listed to woman.  It's to throw people off who don't use this great site.

get calls all day from this number it is I.C. Systems they are a collection agency for capital one. I am behind on one payment and my phone rings off the hook all day long. So if you have to choose a credit card don't place Capital one in " Your Wallet"

If you DO put a Capitol One card in your wallet, use the number to a payphone when you sign up for it.

Does IC only harrass Capital One card holders or do they have other clients?  The phone calls start at 8:09 am each day, several times during the daytime into evening and ends at 8:46.  They have to call atleast 7 times a day!!  I've answered several times and the line becomes disconnected.  Could that be considered harrassment? If they have the guts to call why not have the guts to complete the call!!

Hi people, I get the same harrassing phone calls but each time they call me from a diffrent number, I placed them on my cell phone rejection list and bang they go straight to voice mail, but they never leave a message.  Well I believe the reason why is most collection agencies these days use a system called :predictor dialing" Basicilly this system will started to dial number randomly off their computer system and when someone answeres, the system passes it on to a collector. This ensure maxium calls per hour. I imagine if there are no collectors available the system hangs up on you.  I also read somewhere that it was against the fair credit act for collection agency to use office numbers that belong to fake people.  Does someone know anything about this.

I keep getting calls but have never had a Capital One or Chase card. They never speak when I have answered, so I just let it ring or hit the ignore button on my cell.

1st off.. Isn't there a law that says they can only call from 9AM to 9PM.  If they call you prior to this then contact the appropriate people regarding the Fair Debt Collection Act.  I have/had a Capital One card and paid faithfully for 7 years, unfortunately I was laid off twice in a 6 month span with the last time being out of work for 8 months.  They were OK to me while I was out of work (I somehow mananged to pay the minimum payments due at the expense of my mortgage) but the instant I found employment (at a 40% pay cut mind you) they doubled my minimum payment AND jacked up my interest rate to 39.99% (I had been 12%) with no warning.  So basically I told them to go screw themselves and I am refusing to pay until they lower my rate to where it was and take off all my late fees/over the limit fees.  Capital One are scum!

Accidentally picked this one up, thinking it was an electronic alarm company who I paid off, but have not recieved any recognition of same from Equifax yet...

Anyway, gentleman tried in a very authoritative voice to speak to my ...
I asked him "what is IC Systems?" He ignored the question and asked, even harder... "Are you the husband of such and such?"
I responded by asking him if ICSystems had a website and he said "no", which is amazing, given that I had the collection agencies site up before we were even to .."Are you.."

So either the caller is ignorant or deceitful or just an idiot. Anyway, this is the first call from them. We have no Capitol One accounts, but do have accounts with Chase. So expect many, many more.

I guess debt collection is ONE job that's still available.
