I answered and they hung up.

They called twice yesterday.  Did not pick up

I received calls, just about every day. I don't answer because I don't recognize the number. Plus they don't have the decency to leave a message.

Called on 12-5.  Called again on 12-7.  Caller ID says it's a cell phone.  I answered it only because the company I work for is in DC.  As soon as I say hello, they hang up.  I looked the number up on the White Pages reverse lookup, and it says it's a number belonging to Charles Middleton.  When I call it back, it get a voice mail for Strategic Fundraising, a "non-profit company" that does politcal fundraisers.  Now that we have this number and a name and a company, we can report them because we're on the do not call list as well.  Hope this helps you all.

The caller ID shows Republican National Comm. I get these call every day! Don't they know they lost the election?????????? Good God come on!! I just filed a complaint.

There is a very simple process to get removed from their calling list.  Go to:

It takes that step because political and non-profit fundriasers may have some limited examption from the DNC laws.

I get these calls at least 3 times a day, 7 days a week, for months! now and no-one ever answers, Sick and tired of it.  Nobody is ever on the other end!  Called them back and got a recording saying, if you do not want us to call you anymore, enter your number, haha.  NO, Keep calling you idiots.  Geezas

BS, caller id says no such thing.  It is a private residence .  I'll be reporting it as a scam

Whenever they call (which is three times today 12/29/08)they just hang up when I ask who's calling.

For everyone who is on the national Do Not Call, it doesn't matter, so you can stop mentioning it.  They're calling for political purposes.  Political calling and most charitable organizations are essentially exempt from the national DNC list.  There are a few other exemptions as well.  I used to be in the call center business.  National DNC is just another joke pulled on the people by congress as they exempted themselves from it while screaming in the headlines that they'd stopped those evil telemarketers from harassing all of us.  Follow the above posters link and don't waste your time "reporting" it.

I do not get enough calls.  What can I do about this?

They never pick up the phone when you answer, once they used my name, I said "yes", then they hung up!!!

I get 3 or 4 calls a day.  I don't pick.  They leave blank call messages.

They called twice in the past week, I did not answer, and they did not leave a message. I will answer next time, and report them if they keep calling.
