called twice, but didn't leave a message

Called at 10:08 AM, recording said: "Please hold, I have a call for you."  Then no one came on the line.

We are getting calls from this number, too. They never leave a message, and they call several times per day! Who are they??

I got this call twice...no message either...

this number just called me but he said his company so fast i didnt catch the name. he ask for someone i didnt know. very rude

Calls all day, no message.

Calls my tracfone irregularly once or twice a month, different times, no real pattern. This time was the first time I was present when they call. The person on the line asked for somebody named "Valory Thompkins, or Thompson or something like that. I told them wrong number, please don't call back.

I think it sounds like a collection agencey, although she was not agressive when I had to repeat my responce. If it keeps up I'll let the number expire and get a new one. I'm glad I don't have a "real" celphone. They haven't called my landline afaik.

This is a collection agency. Be advised they suck at what they do. If they really wanted to talk to me they would leave a message.I am going to find a picture of a good looking guy and post there telephone NUMBERS on a gay dating web site:) craigs list nyc. Give them a head ache

They have called right at 8 a.m. twice in the past week.  The first time there was just a hang-up when I answered.  This morning, however, a recorded message came on telling me to call an 866 number regarding "an urgent business matter".  I did not bother to listen to the whole number or the rest of the message.  They did not ask for anyone by name.

Number belongs to IC Systems, a collection agency based in St Paul, MN. Their employees come from broken homes, foster homes, homeless shelters, felons, satanist.  Their major client is WAMU crdit card.

They call from this number, leave no message & when you call back your on hold for over 20 minutes. If I owe money Fine! but dont call and hang up.

these people must live in a trailer park some where I do not know them dont know what they want report them to ph company does no good

claims to be collection agency but will not give you name of alleged creditor or claim unless you supply personal information.  Extremely rude and threatens to call back frequently if you refuse to supply them with info.   5+ now ignored calls a day, night, Sunday...

these people call at 7 times a day. i will not call them back nor do i them any money. hold on . they just called back for the third time today. this needs to stop or i will take legal action.

This is a collection company. My caller ID said it was a cellular call and 202 area code is for Washington DC. Having family in the DC area I answer the call today and male with an Indian accent asked for my wife and when I said she was not here he asked if I was her husband and when I said yes said hold please then I was transferred to the collection agency, I told them I was not able to help them as the were calling about a bill for a medical bill of my wife's and they would have to call back to speak with her. Instead they asked to leave there number for my wife to call back, that number is 888-735-8029.

I have gotten calls from this number for months.  They seem rather persistent.  As a single female, I don't answer the phone if someone is calling that I do not know and they do not leave a message.  This is a log of the number of times they have called me in the past (and this is as far back as the memory in my cell phone will go):

They seem to not be calling as often as they were.

My sister gave me a good idea.  Get a whistle, answer the phone, when they get on the line, blow the whistle into the phone as hard, long and as loud as you can.

they actually called my cell phone.. all i did was answer, and hang up. as simple as that. this was my first call from them(1-22-09) and if they call back again, i am going to report them. everyone els should do the same thing. as everyone els has said, its a collection agency that found a way around the "do not call" list.
