Automated call.  Left message stressing how "urgent" it is that we respond immediately in order to have our interest rate reduced to 6.9%.

I pressed "2" in order to received no further messages.   It remains to be seen how effective *that* was.

Yet another credit card scam where people try to obtain your credit card information on the pretense of lowering your credit card rates. Pressing (insert number here) to stop the calls does not work. When you press the number to speak to someone, as soon as you start to tell them you want to be removed from their call list, they hang up on you. I will be reporting this number to the FCC, as should anyone else who receives a call from them.

Some robot left a message saying:

"ability for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press 1 now on your phone to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate or press 2 to discontinue further noticed. Thank you and have a great day."

It's pretty funny, because the first part of the message got cut off so it doesn't say who is calling or what interest rate they are talking about. Also, pressing 2 on my voicemail isn't going to do anything!

They mention that they service one of my credit cards and would like to lower rate.  I've asked them specifically - which credit card and they cannot say.  I've asked them to stop calling several times but today was at least the 3rd call to my home.

I asked this last guys and he said "Hmmmmm......let me see...." - CLICK!

If this was legit they would not hang up when asked a normal questions.  If I am a customer of yours - prove it!

Hey! Guess what ,I paid my credit card 5 days before the time. That $15 per month, but they double to $30 for this month bill and I also paid the regular credit card bill in time too from the same credit card company. Well I got laidoff from the job. This credit card business is screw up.Now it time that you should layoff one of your employee. It a law the the company have no right to double my bill when I paid in time or blame the slow  postal service!  Who else would I blame? Remember I paid two bills from the same credit card company using ONLY one credit card. Please don't call me again while I am looking
after my old  sick mother. This whole thing is the truth, watch out!

I immediately press 1 to connect back to them and when they answer I blow a metal whistle into the phone with all the breath I can expend.  The people that work for these places must be as big losers as those who hire them.

As others have reported, a female voiced indicated that there was no problem with my credit card, but that I should press 1 to have my rates reduced to 6.9%.  Since there was no indication what credit card company this was, I simply hung up.

Hi... you got that right.  I have reported to the FTC/FCC many of these repeat offender phone calls.  Our government at work is right.  I have to fill out their online form, print it, fax it, and then 2 weeks later, they send me a copy back along with 4 more of their pages illustrating their procedures etc.  I have quite the collection of brown envelopes from the FCC!

Reported them. Again. Everyone please go to donotcall.gov registry and report these numbers.

You do have to give them some information, but it doesn't do any good unless you report them every time.
