12:24 PM Just got a call from this # on my cell phone...the guy said (stumbling words) "I just missed a call from you, may I ask who I am calling" I did not give my name I just told him NO ONE called him from my phone, then he said he must have the wrong#.  How can you have the wrong# if he dialed the phone number he was showing?

Somebody has called me three times today and hangs up as soon as I answer the phone.  It's obviously getting very annoying.

This is the universal number for any outgoing calls from the University of New Mexico regarding doctor's visits, pharmacy stuff, etc.  It's not spam.

this is the generic number for outgoing calla from Univ of NM hospital/clinics.  Calls can be from the clinic or from the patient who doesn't have a cell phone.

so why all the posts if it's legit? spamming rats can put any number they want on the caller ID.

Kind of weird - got a call from this # just now and the Caller ID said University Of New Mexico.  It was a lady names Andrea and she said she was calling on behalf of one of my doctors (it really was the name of one of my doctors).  She said she was from Exogen? Exegen? Diagnostics and left a call back number that was NOT the number this was placed from.  It's also a 505 number and I don't have long distance so I am not returning the call.  I have no idea what this might be. I just saw this doctor last week and don't owe them any money and nothing was said about anything. Why is a Chicago doctor having people call from N.M?  Really annoying.

It is the University of NM Hospital generic line.  When my girl calls me from patient financial services, this is the number that displays.

The notation "nr" is an abbreviation for the word "number."

Female who didn't identify herself asked if a particular behavioral health service was offered by place I work.  After I answered in the negative and started to say what was available, put me on hold, came back on repeated what I'd said.  When I asked if there was something else I could help her with, said no and hung up.

This is UNM. If anyone calls from any line at UNM this number shows up on your caller id.

This number keeps calling my add and never says anything and I can't call it back! Its probably a creeper!

This is a trunk line number for University of NM - it's used by the Psychiatric Hospital at times, hence the reason why some of you might be getting wrong numbers.  I'm a clinician and have rec'd a call from a client at this number. I googled it as well to verify.

Got call from this number. And. It. Didn't leave a massage wondering. Why who what call it seems unm is. The. Answer but. Why would umm call and. Not. Leave. A.  Massage. Got to many. Things with. Unm. And it's usually a one. Eight hundred. Number with a remder and. If it ain't there's always a massage left so if it's unm. I'm lost

Answered because I knew it was a UNM number (all 277-xxxx are from UNM), but it was a misdial looking for someone else.

UNM calling for someone else reminding about appointment. Wrong number.  After reading thru these posts, how can there be so many wrong numbers???

It sounds to me like a scammer is pretending to be them in an attempt to find active numbers to call back later

Exactly what I was thinking.  Looking back at my records, I show they called almost a year ago 4/2015. Didn't answer that one and no message was left.  hmmmmm
