Received a call from this number last night, and when I answered it was a machine stating that they were calling from Pep Boys to verify that my car had been towed there and do a satisfaction survey. I did have my car towed, and initially it was supposed to go there, but the damage was more than they could do, so it was taken elsewhere. I chose the option that told them my car had not been towed there and thought that would be the end of it.

Just got a call from the number again and missed it. Don't know why they would continue to call me after being made aware that my car wasn't taken there.

I did use the USAA Roadside Assistance to schedule the towing, so maybe it's actually them calling to check on the service received. Not sure.

Yesterday I got about 8 calls from this number stating that (a) my roadside assistance would arrive from "blah blah" (not kidding) in 30 minutes, and (b) that the call-back number was 1234567890. It kept calling to confirm that my tow had arrived. **It's important to note that I've NEVER called roadside assistance in my life, I DON'T HAVE roadside assistance at the moment, and that my car was safe and sound in my driveway.** I finally pressed 2 to speak with a customer service rep, who told me she couldn't track who actually called for the tow and said that when the auto-dialer called me again, to press 1 to indicate my tow had arrived. I did this and the calls stopped.

Today, they've started again!! What the heck is going on?!

It turned out to be from KIA headquarter or something... I emailed them couple days ago regarding some issues and they called me back today from this number.

I keep getting a fax call from this number.  On my CELL phone!!!  Grrr.  I am pretty sure I know why though.  One of the local car dealerships has their fax number that matches except for the area code.  I have the local area code and the dealership has a different, out of state, area code.

Still.  I sure wish someone would get their fax straight. (pun fully intended)

These unstoppable jerks are harassing my mom with numerous calls to her cell at all hours of the night.  Let's organize a class action.

Spoke to John today at this number.  He was refreshingly responsive and apologetic.  If the abuse continues I will provide an update.

I have been receiving these calls for about 6 months now.  I have never used roadside assistance.  I have tried to get them to stop by sending a fax but its always busy.  Sometimes the calls come in the middle of the night - how do you make them stop?

GOT A CALL FROM KIA VIA THIS NUMBER. I AM CURIOUS WHAT WAS YOUR KIA ISSUE? OURS WAS A FRONT AXLE/WHEEL BEARING PROBLEM.

This number called my cell phone at 8:37am yesterday morning. I missed the call and they never called back. I live in TX and don't have roadside svc.

Received a call from this number today regarding my new Kia (yes I did recently buy a new Kia), I wasn't home but they left a message and left a number that I could call `if I had any questions about my Kia.'  

My car did not come with any roadside assistance that I know of.  Sounds like this number is legit, or at worst just a pesky sales call, although the message didn't try to sell me anything, only gave me a number to call if I had any questions.

They call on behalf of the main Kia Service Department. The person I talked to wanted to let me know that the problem with my vehicle had been solved and that the district service manager for Kia knew about the on going problem.

This number calls our dealership multiple times a day and when we pick up all is does is beep. It is trying to fax us something. I tried to call the number back and it states that this number is for outound dialing only. Then it says to hang up and call the number on the back of your membership or program. Is there a number to call for them that anyone has had luck with?

I sent Kia a message about some problems I was having and this is the number they called me back from. I'm guessing it's an answer/call service that multiple (car related?) companies have outsourced some of their customer service work to.

Roadside assistance checking in on a tow truck that i had requested.  Good Service.

I got 2 calls within 5 minutes of each other. I did call Ford to get my truck unlocked about an hour ago though. No clue why they are calling now. Didn't answer.

This number keeps repeatedly calling my cell phone - i have no idea who it is or why and I wish they would just STOP already!

This number is an Automated call from Roadside Service regarding my van, which had been towed yesterday.  Messages were left after each of the 5 calls I "missed". The messages were 1) ETA on tow-truck arrival 2) Requesting confirmation of tow-truck arrival 3) Notice that tow-truck had arrived 4) Confirmation that van had been towed to destination 5) Requesting I complete a survey.  I think this should be the end of the calls!  I'm not complaining since the service was excellent.  However,  the automated calls were a bit over the top.

Why is a towing company calling me? Esp from Tucson AZ?  I am in Ohio and at work, my car is in the parking lot, I can see it from my window!  I tried calling back and was told to use the 800 number on the back of my card, as others were told.
