Also called me in upstate NY (central NY) at 7:37 PM.  Answering machine picked up; no message was left.

No message was left.  Most likely a telemarketer.  Do not want telemarketers calling me.

I got 718-569-5411, when I picked up, it is hang up. no message was left.

Called twice on 9/10/12. Once at 5:15 and again on 6:44. Wanted donation for those that paid the " the ultimate price ". Presumably  referring to 9-11 attack. What ----bags!

police organizations do not solicit donations like this. Never contribute to a voice on the phone. Contact the NYPD PBA if you choose to donate money to the widows and orphans fund

keep receiving call from this number claiming to be nypd looking for donations. when I call back, person hangs up quickly, sound of telemarketing office can be heard in backround

got a message at 6:35 pm. identified themselves as ny police defense fund. had to say hello 3 times, iratated me, told them not to call again, also had a call 3min prior to this call which came up as a private number, i did'nt answer, coincidence, i doubt it

I asked was this and they hung up

Received a call from this number claiming to be collecting donations for the State Police.  He went into a spiel and asked how much could he put me down for, gold level being $100, silver level being $50, etc., and I told him I did not accept telephone solicitations but he could put something in the mail to me and I would consider it-- he said he definitely would, should the request be for gold level, silver level, etc.?  Not getting the point, buddy.  I hung up on him.

Received numerous calls from this number within the past few days - sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.  No messages left.  Comes up 1-718-569-5411 on caller id.  Annoying and harassing.  Calls start coming in early approximately 8 am and continues all day/night.
