spoof of citicard phone number by scammer

Received a call from this number; they left no message so I blocked it.  Found this site while researching the number.  I called Citi, and there was no call made to me by them.  This is a scam.

Received a call but no message. After looking at this site I called Citi. They had no record of a call being made. In other words, watch out for spoofed phone numbers. Let it go to message and then call back yourself to the number on the back of your card to make sure you get the real Citi and not someone spoofing their number.

I received a call from 1-800-950-5114 and it is 100% is a SCAM.  I answered the phone and they hung up.  I had them on caller ID and so I phoned it back, always suspicious.  They asked for my name and I refused to give ANY information unless I had infor. from them.  The clincher was the woman asking if I had a Citi card tied to anything "like Home Depot".  If it was actually Citi calling on my acct. they'd have the info.  I wouldn't have been asked for one single solitary bit of info.    I reported this and found out that NOONE FROM CitiCard had phoned AT ALL, FOR ANY REASON!  DO NOT give these people ANY INFORMATION!!!

I didn't answer because while caller ID says Citi,is also said "robo". They left no message and when I called back, the recording immediately asked for my account number. At that point I just hung up.
I'm sure this was NOT CitiBank.

They are not claiming to be CITIBANK but claiming to be "card services" and offer to lower my rates because of my excellent payments and blah-blah-blahditty-blah....  Press 1 to speak to a representative.  So just for giggles and grins (and to be able to spew some choice words at these lying fakers), I press one and get some guy from ... well Sri Lanka or India or _______....  Telling me he's from "Card Services" and that they work with ALL the banks to lower ...blah-blah-blahditdty-blah"...  Buzz off you fake scamming liar...  Not gonna happen.

Dear Tim, you like all your scamming friends are Trash Monkeys. You deserve no respect. I know this is "citi cards" Like "windows corp." Its just a scam or you would all ready have our info attached to our phone number like our banks have..

I got called by this number. This is “legit”? I don’t even have one of their cards.

How would it be "legit" if you don't have one of their cards?

Got a call from this number this morning. Pick up the phone and said nothing, it hung up. When I realized it was Citi's number I called Citi and they said they did not call and there was no problem with the credit cards.

Automated call from spoofed number for card member services. Call at 7am. This is a scammer trying to get your card info and then steal you blind.

The number 800-950-5114 is a legitimate CitiBank number. HOWEVER... the call I received was spoofed with that number to make it look legitimate, BUT IT'S NOT. The caller starts asking for my credit card number, my social security number, my address, and my security password etc. These are crooks trying to get information, and they are not CitiBank representatives. If in doubt, call the number on the back of your card, or even call that same 800 number. I called Citibank and there was no record of anyone trying to contact me, nor were there any issues relating to my credit card, nor any suspicious activity that they were aware of.

I got a call from this number and I don't have City Card.  Definitely a scam. Be careful.

Caller Left a message on my voicemail saying that they were citicards + for me to give them a call concerning my card . I called and I were asked for my social security number are card number  so they can identify my account .   I don't even have a card nor  account with bank.  Wow 🤨
