Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. No callback was attempted.

While this is a legitimate number for Citi, it apparently has been spoofed by criminal identity thieves, who always leave voicemails. It's the same voicemail as all the credit card fraudsters, "Press 1 to speak to member services about lowering your interest rate."  Yeah right.  The caller ID shows only the number, not CIti.  I had called Citi the first time these idiots called and Citi assured me they had not called me.   Guess I have to call them again.  Criminal lives DON'T matter and they should all be exterminated.

Phishing scams spoof numbers to make the call look legit.  Spoofing is a felony in the US but most of these originate overseas.

Caller ID says Citi Cards but it wasn't them. Scammer trying to get all my Credit Card info. Must be spoofing Citi Cards real number. Sad...

Received a call from (800) 950-5114 as displayed on caller ID and left no message.  Found that the number is Citti Bank's fraud department number.  Called it and they show no record of any attempt to contact me.  I have no open accounts with Citty Bank for the past two years and I have a lock in place with each of the credit reporting agencies that requires any potential creditor to call me directly with any request to establish new credit.  I suspect that the call I received was simply another low-life criminal that had spoofed the caller ID to display a legitimate number in an attempt to acquire personal information.

Scammers faking Citybank’s number. Don’t fall for it.
