Have received 55 phone calls from this number 385-261-7125, since Nov 16, 2020.  They were calling the house phone.  I blocked them and only left my cell number.  As of Dec 1, 2020 the 385-261-7125 will be blocked from my cell.  They have only left a message once with this 800 number.

I reported this re 385-261-7106.  I'm repeating here because this 800-973-5066 is the number they said to call them back. called 5/10/21 11:29 (blocked at 12:49): Asked for household member by first name.  Real woman (Shaiylan) said she had to talk to the person " for her security", did I have another number?  I said I don't give our personal information to random people who call me on the phone because there are scammers out there. She laughed.  She said to call 1-800-973-5066 and could talk with anyone there, 8 am to 10 on, Mon through Fri..  Caller ID said "Discover Finan".  After call, I found numerous reports for the 800 number being a scam, and this number as well.  yes, Discover has a call center in Utah ( 385 area code is in Utah) but a call to the REAL Discover customer service revealed that NO ONE FROM DISCOVER HAD CALLED US TODAY.  So sad that there are so many evil people in this world who try to scam us!  This number is NOT listed as Discover's customer service number and is NOT listed as Discover Financial Services number.  SCAM

Voicemail left was to call 800-973-5066 as Discover card services. Call was from 480-550-3207

This number has been calling me daily and leaving messages, asking for my ex-husband saying they are from Discover. I called Discover Card, and not the number that’s listed here, and they said they have never called me and that it’s some type of scam! Cannot trust anybody these days!

BLOCKED this number. Sick of them!

I had that number call and leave me message from someone named Julie, saying she had some important account Info that I would want to know...? then another message from an Alex saying that she had ways to save me money and I needed to call her back? But the number she gave was 800-793-5066. Which made me suspicious,  good thing since these scammers are getting pretty believable! Almost fell for it,  as I know I'm maxed out and behind on my payments, I'm sure the real Discover is trying to get ahold of me also.

They just called my sister looking for me?!  WHATTT?!

I received a call from them.  They said it was not a solicitation call and it was important.  The lady on the message sounded like a white American and professional.  I paid my card off several months ago and was concerned.  The call was from Salt Lake City Utah and in the message they listed a 1-800 call back number for discover.

I called the 1-800 number and the recording said it was discover and I was connected to a  male operator that sounded like a black American.  I mention nationality only because usually if it’s a foreign accent you know it’s a scam.

But I still didn’t trust it.  I then called the discover number in my phone contacts that I use to use to pay my bill with.  She confirmed that my account was still closed and that the 1-800 number was not  discover.

ITS A SCAM!!!!!

Just received a call from this number - "This is Brenda calling and I am trying to reach you in regards to some important information you do need to be aware of. Please call me back today at 1-800-973-5066 between the hours of 8 am until 10 pm est. And you may also reach me online or thru the mobile app available on your smart phone . . ." Never said what company or website? Thank goodness this site exists - thank you!!

This scammer is relentless.  They call constantly even after I have blocked them.  When I called the Discover Number on my card, which is different, they say I am on a Do No Call list.  This scammer wanted my social sec. And full account number.  The guy said he was from the “Pre Delinquent department”.  I said I am not in any way delinquent since I am on auto pay and have been for years.  He said it doesn’t necessarily mean I am in arrears - I told him then all good payers would be “pre-delinquent.”  I refused to give him my info and you should too.

I also spoke to a woman at this number and read her the riot act, explaining that I was on a do not call list.  She claimed she would put me on the do not call list, and claimed she was filing a complaint.  These scammers are slick.  It sounds like Discover.  Do not be fooled.  Real Discover would never ask for your full account number.
