i get called at least twice a day for the past 3-4 months, very annoying.

They keep trying to call me,too. I keep hitting the "hang up" button on my cell phone. One ring and 'CLICK" Give up you will never make me answer.Mua,ha,ha,ha,ha,

Met credit collection agency...call your provincial consumer affairs office or Services alberta as it is called here I think.
Give the details of how often they call, the date, the time & whether they leave a contact name. Debt collectors are not allowed to make these calls more than 3 times a week and only between certain hours. And if you are not the person nor have any debt the gov't  will open a file or phone them for you. The more info you can give the better including whether they call you on your cell phone or call you from different numbers

I have not idea why they are calling me but call at least 1-2 times a day.

They called my # at least 4 times every day. INCLUDING WEEKENDS!!!!!! I finally called the # back and told them that the person that they are calling for DOESN'T LIVE HERE!!!!! She promised to take my # off the list. At least I hope so!

I am fade up of the calls coming from phone no. 8663782831 and 8559698962. They called me 11 times within 3 days. I was given this phone no by Rogers 3 days ago. Pls don't harass me

They  called my child who is a minor 15 times in a span of 10minutes when I called they supposedly didn't have my number I said well u obviously did as u have been calling 15 times back to back ... all of a sudden she's like are u so and so I said nope don't call my minor child again and hung up..no class

The is MET Credit for sure, as I just heard the after-hours recording when I phoned this number

I think a bunch of us should get together and get a list of all these numbers and all phone it throughout the day. Kind of like a DDOS attack on computers, but instead, it is against the sleazy outfits that harrass us by not taking our numbers off their list.

this number keeps calling for a person that is not even in our family. Calls at all hours.

I got this nr calling me at least more than 2x actually not calling but leaving me a message with this nr to call .his name is Joe Callingbull and it says Met credit .I looked further and found head office nr .so I called but it wasnt head office at all .I checked again and sure enough same nr .
It was a free chat for man to woman and visa versa ..is this a scam  .because it said they are with BBB ..

I got a text message from this 855-969-8962 number saying they are form Metropolitan and they gave me a"personal file number" that I never had or heard about, asking to call them back. The curiosity is they knew my first and last name, but they texted to my hubby's phone number. I ignored them totally.

Got a text and email from Metcredit.  Regarding a debt I paid off last year.  Stated I owed ofer 6000$, when I paid it off the outstanding debt was less than 2000$   calling and texting for 5 days now, including weekends.  Pressing the ignore button.

I just had that # buzz my phone 10 minutes ago rang 6 times & stopped w/o leaving a message. I'm avoiding answering calls that I don't recognize. There are other numbers they're calling from as well to try to collect, such as 780.423.9154. I believe they're from the same outfit.

I have a long dispute with a collection agency(s), and am waiting for an apology, from them to me by reply email for their unprofessional business practices, before I reconcile a debt of $100, charged for a so-called "consultation" visit to a dental surgeon office in 2020, during the height of the pandemic.

I had to decline to have any dental surgury done there that day, because it was only AFTER the $100 "consultation" visit in the surgeon's office, (which lasted only 5 minutes, as my own dentist had previously gone over the the X-rays and explained the procedure required to be performed), did the surgeon's administrator present the cost estimate of $1,700 to perform the surgery.

I'm on a limited retirement pension, with a limited health insurance plan, and had to make special financial arrangements, ending up being sent to a different oral surgeon to get the needed work done.

What a scam, it seems to me these days. It appears that many "specialists" are charging about $100 or more for these "consultation" visits, BEFORE any services by them are performed, and in my case, BEFORE they present the sticker shock of the bill for any work to be done.

I am willing to settle, once after I recieve that apology, but I'm not holding my breath.
