- Lovely HollyYup. Holly called me from "The Reward Center" and said she had really good news and my name had been picked to win a Lincoln Navigator. I didn't really believe it and then looked it up here, which confirmed my suspicions. This is a great lookup service. Thanks all.
Now we just need a button to click to easy report it to the company that manages 888 numbers so they can disconnect these scammers.- Caller: The Reward Center
- Not AmusedJust got a call from 888-648-2797 and was disconnected upon my answering. So, I did a search and found all these other responses regarding the same number. These calls need to be reported!!
- JonGot the same phone call/ sales pitch. MRC on page 1 asked the same question I had. Has anyone actually been to the sales presentation?
Well I got the link to the Better Business Bureau with the detailed report. Its a timeshare. Even though, Danny, says it isn't.

- 1wifenmommy replies to susan in nc03/29/10 i got the same message from "Holly" about winning a Lincoln Navigator. Very strange. i will not be returning the phone call. i hate scammers!!!
- annoyedI would just like to say that I called back because I am not afaid to stomp some jerko down if need be, and I was wondering who called me (no message was left). I called back and some dude answered and immeditately transferred me to another man (who had a super scary voice) and he said same deal, oh you've won a lincoln navigator... (i'm like yah sure i did) so anyways, he says, "you sound young, how old are you?" I say... 24... Why? His reply, you have to be 28 to win, CLICK! Yep this [***] hung up on me!!!!! So I called my cell phone company and i'm reporting it to them. I will also send down the wrath of my father on these people. (he's a military man who doesn't take any BS)

- Charles replies to sfWe can file a class action law suit if we can find an address because I am in the same boat, I just got the second call, got disconnected, called back and said I had won a car...I, too, am on the federal no call list (i.e.: home and cell). I entered NO contest, haven't in about 6 years.
- Dan replies to Holly| 1 replyHolly, if this is legit, then no one would be hung up on...If this is legit, then just call people who actually entered a contest. If this is legit, then don't be in a "meeting" or out of the office. IF this is legit, then use adult language and not childish language such as "meanie." If this is legit, then how come you have to be at least 28 and married to win the car or cash? It would make sense that you would just have to be 18 (the true legal age to enter into any kind of contract in more then half the states)...
- Joseph replies to HollyWe all want free gifts Holly, but your f@#*ing missing the point of all the posts here. In 90+% of the posts, people have said that when they answered the phone call, THEY WERE HUNG UP ON UPON ANSWERING the call! Are you some kind of moron? Here is a bit of useful information, GROW UP!
- LBGot the call 888-648-2797 from Holly - I live in MD. Called back b/c I just bought a Navigator and figured maybe I did enter something. I didn't get Holly either - but I did get someone who confirmed I really did win (yeah, right).
Anyway ... 4 prizes to 100 winners - 2010 Navigator or $50K cash, trip for 2, finally - last place a TV - 37 in Toshiba worth $1700 ... hmmm ... they are getting quite ripped on those Toshibas at $1700 a pop. Anyway, I wanted more info on the Global Group (travel club).
Asked me & spouse to sit through a 90 min presentation in DC. Sounds like timeshare sales to me ... probably really do have to be 28 and make a certain income. Guy said odds of winning a Nav were 1 in 50 ... yeah right. I'd like to hear from someone that went to their 90 min presentation and walked out w/a prize.- Caller: Global Group (Travel Club)

- SPGot the message from Holly today, The meeting is in Seveierville, TN, I am from East TN and know that this is a timeshare meeting and you will walk away with a prize but it will be a trip for 2. The trip is not an all expense paid vacation, but a voucher for three days and two nights at a sister timeshare resort usually to Gatlinburg/Piegion Forge TN, Orlando FL, or Las Vegas NV. They give prizes away because they do not cost the timeshare companies any money. The Navigator will be given away but it is a rigged drawing and the Navigator, the $2,500.00 dollars, and the 32" TVs are given to friends and relitives of the timeshare company's employee's.
