- CinnaminCalled me everyday don't leave a message or say what they want or who they're looking for
- Caller: Transworld
- Call type: Debt collector
- Hum replies to BigA| 3 repliesIf it is a wrong number they can be on the do not call list.
- Tygerkat replies to HumEven if they're calling a wrong number, the DNC list doesn't apply to debt collectors.
- BigA replies to Hum| 1 replyYour post makes no sense. You clearly don't have a clue what the DNC list is let alone what it covers. I would suggest two things. Go back to school and get an education so that you can read and write in complete coherent sentences. Then go take the time to read the information at the DNC sign up page like you should have. That way you don't look foolish and uneducated when you post.
- Cherie replies to BigA| 2 repliesBigA. I have one ? I read about the letter they must send out within 5 days of contacting you. But what is legally considered " contact"? An unanswered attempt? A message left by TSI? Or does it actually have to be an answered verbal contact? Also, how do you prove the 5 days? Record on phone? (Note I have 810 credit and no debt. They may be looking for someone else. I don't answer ANY calls from ANYONE I don't know, but I am curious why they calling my #. So can I expect a letter in 5 days? Or do I physically have to answer and request they mail me?
- BigA replies to Cherie| 1 replyIn theory if they leave a message. However if you are not the person that they are looking for then you won't get the letter. The best way would be to talk to them to find out what they want and who they are looking for. I doubt that you will get a letter until you talk to them. There are too many legalities for me to describe them all. Our opinion around here is talk to them and once that happens then you can assert your rights in the matter.
- AllenGI've been getting calls from them also. I have no collections or past due accounts, so obviously they have a wrong number, and now it's blocked.
- Cherie replies to BigASounds logical, thanks for reply 👍

- Laura Oldham| 1 replyI just got a call from this number. The woman said she needed to talk to me about a business matter. Her name is Gabrielle M. Barnard. I think it was a scam call. I do have some outstanding debt, but this call didn't come across as legitimate to me.
- BigA replies to Laura OldhamTransworld is a debt collector. Everything else that you need to know has already been posted.
- John ChandlerAsked if I was John Chandler and I asked why she couldn't tell me

- Judy| 2 repliesI got a call for the first time from these people. When I looked it up, it said, Trans World Systems.
- Caller: Trans World Systems
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to Judy| 1 replyAre you having memory problems? Because just a few minutes ago you claimed that it was a cable company. Now you are claiming that it is a debt collector? Is that because you read the other posts in here and found out that it isn't a cable company?
