Called saying that they were Southern California Edison and wanted me to confirm my recent address and past address. I argued with them and said why are you calling me about that. I told them a bogus current address and they said confirm past address on random road and I told them I never lived there and they hung up. I'm not sure what they are up to but it couldn't be good.

Spam caller calls multiple times a day. If answered no one is there. Very annoying 888 899 6650

I got a call from that’s number. It says trans world systems. They didn’t leave a message and I’m not calling them back

Debt collectors do not leave messages for various legal and other reasons.  Everything else that you need to know was already posted.

Called new US Gov cell phone twice daily over a period of 2 weeks. Never answered, flagged as scam by phone company, no message left. Phone is new and # is not listed outside federal government and is not associated with my name anywhere.

How do you know that the call was for you?

Scam.  Do not answer, and block the number.

Asking personal info about a family member

We have been called three times so far: twice yesterday and once this morning. When I pick up the phone nobody is on the line. This morning I waited. After 10 seconds or so I heard a click. Then a woman started talking. She asked me how I was, if my boss was in the office. I told her we do not need whatever she is selling and hung up.

Today is 9/19/24. We have been getting calls 1-2x a day from 888-899-6650 T. Sanders. I researched the caller. Her name is Tanya Saunders. Today for the first time someone came on the line after the click sounded. Previously there was a delay before the click sounded. I hung up those times. Today "T. Saunders" came on the line. She was a woman with an Indian accent and very talkative. I told her that we do not do business with her and have never contacted her. She kept asking me who I was and wanted me to say Yes or No as answers to different questions. I told her I had looked up her number and read many complaints at 800Notes. There was a click. She stopped talking and the call ended. This is a nuisance.

888 is a toll free number. As such it would not be someone's personal phone number. So I don't know where you're getting this name from.
