- knI have been receiving phone calls from this guy whose name (so he said) was Adam Roy. He asked me for my case file number and where I was calling from. I gave him the number for our local police department. I gave him a bogus name, (I'd never give him mine). H looked up my name and what do you know, he came up with my case file. How did he do that? Anyway, he told be that I owed the IRS $8,900.00 in back taxes. He wanted my address so he could send the info to me. Good luck with that. I have NEVER owed the IRS anything. Why can't this guy be stopped. I have his name, his ID number and my so called case file number. I feel bad for an elderly person who may be taken in by this person.

- VR| 1 replyMy Mom got three messages from them. She called them back. Said it was the IRS and if she paid them $8900.00 that they would drop the lawsuit. He asked if she had it in the bank so She could bring it to them. She told him she was old & she couldn't come. She ask for his name & told him to put someone on the phone from America because she couldn't understand very good. He called her a B.... and hung up the phone. Glad my mom has been watching the scams on tv.
