RoboCall claiming to be from the IRS, telling me that a law suit was being filed against me and I was to call this number.  Reported to Department of Justice.  Did not call back.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I tried calling back with my caller ID blocked.  Rang and rang and finally had a message that this was a non-working number.

Caller is a robot message.
I'm being sued by the IRS.
Please call back immediately.
I did not call back.

I called back. The person gave me a name and badge number. He told me they mailed out a letter in August and November and that they would not mail anything more. And I looked up the phone number while I was talking and advised him that is coming up as a scam and he disconnected.

Message received on 1/14/16 and 2 on 1/15/16 stating it was the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me and I was to call them back immediately.  Caller ID said it was Washington, DC cell phone.

worthless scamming [***] called.  I called them back and told them I was going to slit their childrens throats and force them to drink it as they watched them take their last breath.  Woman on the phone started crying and said there was no reason to bring family into it.  I told her I was going to have her rapped and impregnated so we could force her to watch the new child get murdered too.
