I got a mechanical message from this number claiming that I needed to appear in court for a federal offense?!!!  Obviously spam.

Officer John Hamilton, gave a badge ID # of 23579 saying I was being charged for tax evasion

just received this call, claiming to be IRS and federal offense committed. Thank god I watched something in NBC news this morning about a similar call from scammers claiming to be IRS. Such a scam!!

Just got this call telling me I needed to report back about some federal crime. It was an automated voice and did not mention what the crime was. Glad I saw reports about scams like these

Got a robo call from this number and msg was left that I had to appear in federal magistrate court.  I called the number back and an agent for the "IRS CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIVE DIVISION" said I was being accused of tax fraud and that I owed 4 thousand dollars.  I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and that I reported all of my income.  I started asking questions about what income I was being accused of not reporting, and why I hadn't received any formal written correspondence from the IRS, he got very angry and asked me if I was stupid.  I kept asking him what he was talking about, that's when he told me he was calling the Sherriff to come and arrest me tonight and that I was going to jail for 5 yrs.

Got a call from this number, no message.  Call blockers are great.

Got a call - phone blocked it no message

Rang my number, I have a nasty message on my machine.  They left nothing and I never answer unknown calls.  Now blocked.

Been receiving calls from this number daily for over a week. Leaves no message. Called again today and I answered…long pause and finally a woman says hello and when I said hello back she disconnected the call.

Incessant calling, daily, finally unblocked, answered.  It is a ROBO.  "This is Amy.  You have been selected by a healthcare professional to receive a medical alert system at no cost."  I hang up. They call back 10 minutes later.  I called the number - no identity, just press 1 or 2. Never got a person. Blocked the number again.  Will report to FCC.
