I received a call from this number and they claim they are the IRS trying to get money payment. consumers be ware of this scam

Caller said IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.

Left msg yesterday on answering machine claiming IRS was filing a lawsuit and to call immediately for more info.  Today they claimed to be IRS and that they were filing a lawsuit and to call immediately.

I've been getting calls all day from this number. It doesn't even show up as a full 10 digit phone number. The one time I picked up no one was there.

Lefted a message stating the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I should call them back.  It's a scam. IRS don't make phone calls.

Call started as a recording of President Trump talking about the proposal his administration submitted to congress about "the wall" and ended up being a donation request to send bricks to Schumer and Pelosi.  What a waste of time and money!!!

IRS does not call - they send out mail via US Postal Service. Also there is the Donald Trump Government Shut-down going on, so even if the IRS called people I seriously doubt calls would be conducted with a labor shortage.
