Have received a call from this number multiple times in the past week. They always leave an automated message, but because my outgoing message is long, I only get her saying the phone number, then, "I repeat, 202-754-8443."  I have not called it back, nor will I.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Where do you illiterate foreign criminals generate your bogus screen IDs anyway?  Your IRS scam is well documented.  You aren't fooling anyone here, moron.
Here's what the REAL IRS has to say about you crooks: https://www.irs.gov/uac/IRS-Urges-Public-to-Stay-Alert-for-Scam-Phone-Calls

P.s.  your lack of knowledge of US geography is showing --- TX  you say is the location of the 202 area code caller.  Of course neither is correct as you are likely calling from the scam center of Pakistan.

Nope. Actually "Charles/John" is an Indian. An exceptionally stupid Indian. None of the Indian Cheats are very bright though, so he's not exactly unusual. If you knew what the clown was being paid you'd probably understand why none of the Indian Scammers are ever what might be called "Scholars". The vast majority of Indians are fine people. Only the lowest of the low demean themselves by becoming Cheats. They aren't paid in an entire day what a westerner pays for a Mocha Latte. A smart Indian would be morally above the job & wouldn't need to work for the abysmal pay anyway. So, when you're talking to an Indian like "Charles" you're dealing with someone from the bottom of the barrel who has the integrity of a cheap Prostitute & the IQ of a Parsnip.
    Live Well.

Hey, Dumbo--- It is illegal in OUR country to say you are law enforcement.  But then you aren't here.  You are in a pathetic, stinking sweatshop next to a polluted river.
