- Cristina| 3 repliesCalled my job and all I hear is a loud humming sound.
- LisajonesReceived a call from this "unassigned" number and when I asked to take a message the man hung up on me. Very Rude. Not to mention - no way to get back in touch with them to find out who this is. I don't feel people should be allowed to call businesses and hang up on people.
- Caller: Unknown
- ScottCalled my office and asked for me. When I responded that I was the person they had requested, they hung up. Listing said unassigned. When I called back, there was a recording saying this number was unassigned.
- Caller: Unassigned
- Too Busy206-203-7316 dalled my work number twice this morning (2/2/2012). Line was dead the first time I answered. Heard background crowd noise and a hangup the second time. Called the number back, got the message (cheery female voice): "We're sorry, you have reached a number that is unassigned on our IP website...." and something about it taking up to 60 minutes to reach them through their website or something.
- Caller: "Unassigned"
- MsSuzieQ206-203-7316 called me at work, through customer service, asked for me by name and told them it was Jimmy from Nextel... As soon as I answered, he said something with a heavy Asian accent and hung up...
- Mack| 1 replyCalled my office cell phone and asked for me. When I responded that I was the person they had requested, they hung up. When I called back, there was a recording saying this number was unassigned.
Somebody is doing some shaddy work here and needs to reported t o the authority soon. - suzy123very loud background noise, waited until someone spoke.
Asian sounding person asked for boss by first name. Hung up when I said he was in a meeting. - MeI just got called and hung up on too.
I'm wondering if it's a sweat shop that calls people to verify and then sell names and numbers to telemarketers. I least I hope it no more nefarious than that. - KimI just got called and hung up on too. What does this mean? What are they trying to do?
- ITDawgCalled on 206-203-7316 asked for me & I said not here. Called again a couple minutes later on number with my companies name listed on caller id.
- Judicalled my work number with Unassigned as lisiting. I did not answer. They did not leave a message.
- Caller: unassigned
- CristinaAlways calling my job.. I could hear like 5 voices at a time saying hello because it is a call center.
- Lori| 3 repliesThey have called here twice. Man with a heavy accent (not Spanish or Mexican) identifies himself as Edward Garcia. Each time when I ask if I can take a message for the person he's calling for (he asked for an individual who does work here), he hangs up. You can hear lots of people in the background.
- Caller: Unknown
- Cristina replies to Lori| 2 repliesDon't know why I decided to answer as you can see I posted twice earlier.. But a man with an accent (I couldn't tell what kind) asked for someone who wasn't here in the company and when I told him there was no one with that name here he said, "Aaall righhttt..." and hung up. Never going to answer these people again. There was a lot of static on the line and he barely could hear me probably because of all the call center sounds around him.
- MattCalled 3 times today. Twice on my cell and once on my work phone.
Never left a message. Freaking call center. I am on the no call list.- Call type: Telemarketer
- JRconstant calls and harassment from these people, and they will not identify themselves. I ask to take a message and most recent man started yelling at me and hung up.
- MTcalled at work - line was crackly... asked for me by name. Made the mistake of saying "yes, speaking". They hung up. Calling the number back got the same result as mentioned above: not in service IP phone BS. Seems like a fraud ring validating stolen identity information.
- AM| 1 replyI answer the phone with my first name. He says "Is this ...." and gives bith my first and last name (on a work phone) and when I said yes, he says he called the wrong number and hung up.
- carol/VB| 1 replyReceived a call from this number at my place of employment. He asked for me by name. He then asked again to confirm and all I said was "that is correct." He asked a second time to confirm my name and I again said "that is correct," and he hung up on me. It appeared he wanted me to say my name so he could record it. It made me think it was some type of scam to get a recording of my voice saying my name. You could hear many people in the background - sort of like a call center, the caller had a heavy foreigh accent.
- coolpup replies to carol/VBI would have asked who wanted to know. I don't give out personal information unless I know who I'm talking to, and even then I don't sometimes.
