Got a call from this number saying this was my last warning and there was going to be an warrant for my arrest  - message from the IRS.  The number was from Atwater California.  I know this is a fraudulent message - just irritating that I even am bothered with this rubbish!!!

Some bogus company called saying they were the IRS filing a lawsuit against me to get more information about a case file (which makes no sense).

The phone call stated they were from the IRS and that they were filing a lawsuit against me . I figured it was bogus when the lady I talked to could barely speak English .

Call them back (repeatedly) and tie up their switchboard. Play music when they answer. Report it on the IRS website https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/ Check the red box upper right and HOPEFULLY the IRS will take action. Although the recording says if you haven't suffered monetary damage, yours is not a priority. Calls at 5 am--who needs them??

Got call from them also although my call blocker worked perfectly. Some 6 months ago this ruse was active and apparently the crooks have not been caught yet or a new generation is advancing.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Same as everybody above.  Voice was recorded and told me to call them back.  I don't owe taxes.

Claims they are IRS and are trying to scam people out of money.

Yeah!! A heavy indian accented "Chief of The Bureau of Investigation" Called me.. Told him to call me back in 5 minutes as I was [***] his mother!

I recieved a call from ph:209-676-4577 today Jul 4-2016 at about 10;15 am

Max Wilson--Phone 2096764577- a computer tech support agent did some work on my computer 7-2-2016 and charged me 99.99. This morning 7/3/2016 10:15 am offering to refund the 99.99.  He told me he would call my credit card NO> and refund the money and I was to check with him at 11oclock so he could verify that he made the refund.  I call at 11 and got recording saying "the person you are calling is not available"  I called several times and got the same message. I called the credit card #Discover to check if I received any credit---they said I didn't but there additionals made to my acct the same morning 7/4/16 of $399.99 and 65.00.  I asked Disc to dispute those charges which they are working on. I never authorized those charges.  He is harassing me with calls  offering to credit my acct for $500,  apparently this is all a scam. I am concerned because he said he would not leave me alone and keep calling me---apparently to keep harassing me--I need help

Well you were scammed the first time and then the second time.  There is nothing you can do about the charges except dispute them.  You will need to buy a call blocker, call blocking phone, or download a free call blocking app.  The bigger problem is that you allowed him access to your computer.  You need to disconnect it from the internet immediately and take it to a brick and mortar computer shop to have them check it out as it may now contain viruses, trojans, spyware, or ransomware.  You need to change the user names and passwords on every account you had in that computer (not until the computer has been cleaned).  You also need to notify your contacts and Facebook contacts as well.
