Tnhey have called several times in the past few days.

I get calls from this number daily and won't answer the phone.  I have no idea who's callihlg.

This number calls each day. I wait till the 3rd ring and no one is there. This indicates this is a computer made call. I'm going to block it. Caller Id says Dallas T.

This daily call is getting very annoying. I wish there was a way for the phone companies to intervene and shut this line down.

I get calls from this number every day of the week including Sunday, I wish the government would look into  shutting this practice down. Do these company's really think the public would contribute anything to them after being harassed day after day by them.  Of course the bird brains that program these calls doesn,t think of that.

ID's as "AHA NEIGHBOR". Hung up before answering machine came on.

Don't sit waiting for "the government" to shutter what the casual observer will find to be a legitimate charity not grossly violating any laws. Never mind that closer examination shows the "charity" is a closet profit enterprise using sly sales tactics and hiding barely behind the DNC registry exemption.

You are likely to find the calls are placed by a commercial fundraiser, such as Associated Community Services, Dial America, Donor Care Center, Donor Services Group, Harris Direct, Horizon Marketing, InfoCision, Insight Teleservices, MDS, and TeleFund. As commercial entities, these hired call centers are expected to honor an internal no-call list and add any number upon request. Break that order, the FTC declares, and ''the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000.'' They are also covered to a point by other regulations for telepests, so you can report abandoned calls, bot calls to mobile phones, and so on.

In a comment from Nov 2012 linked below, find the simple steps I took to rid myself of a major pain boiler room by politely rubbing its face in federal laws. It is in fact the place that once hassled us for American Heart among other fraudulent beggars. You will note that I never rely on verbal cease-communication demands.

TIRED of AHA NEIGHBOR (214-256-4680) calling EVERY DAY... it's Sunday, and we just got a call...  you answer and they hang up or don't talk... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO aggravating..

call came in at 8.15 AM EST
picked up the phone, I said nothing,  after a few moments of silence, the call was terminated.....

I would add that if AHA Neighbor doesn't get a response, they call back with a different number.  Charity or not, they are using questionable calling tactics. I am blocking each number they call on. I will see what they use tomorrow.

they call everyday but we don't answer; they don't leave a message but caller id says AHA Neighbor

Received a call from 214-256-4680.  Caller id said 'Private Name'.  I didn't answer, as I don't want their system to recognize that someone actually responds to the called number. I pressed *67 and then dialed the number.  I received a recorded message thanking me for calling the American Heart Association about their 'Dear Neighbor' campaign.
