These people are trash. They called my cell and left a voicemail that the IRS have sent the local police after me, they know where I live (obviously since it's the IRS) and that I need to call them immediately. It's obviously fake, but I do worry about older people believing them. I'm gonna report them.

Received a call this morning - let it go to the answering machine.  It is an IRS scam call  - a detailed message was left by "Officer Justin Bebis", which was a recording, threating arrest and federal investigation. If you get this call, please go to the IRS site and read their information on these phone scams.  They have instructions/links for reporting these to both the Treasury Department and the FTC, to get these numbers shut down.

Just got a call from this idiot. Me claims to be a Federal Agent.  They would never make such a call, especially a scare tactic, such as a telling you that you had a warrant for your arrest.  A reverse call log should return to the IRS, but it appears,to be a home or residence.  SCAM.....

This person left a voicemail message on my cell phone claiming to be officer Justin Bevis from the IRS department. He said the IRS has issued an arrest warrant for me and that my physical address is under a Federal investigation. He urged me to return his call him for more details and he said to call him on 214-838-9667, adding that it is very important he hears from me today.

Got the exact same message earlier. First clue that it was false, IRS send letters, not phone calls. Played along to see what info I could get from them to turn into the authorities. Clue #2, Told me I would deal with an IRS agent in town, we don't have an IRS agency. Told me to get a money gram or I-Tune cards, Clue #3, Still insisted that I know location of this IRS building, he would not reveal the info, as he continued to get angrier by the minute. I talked with a rep for a tax agency and a CPA firm, they told me it's a scam, which I knew, but I want to get these [***]. Finally the CPA person got on the phone and told him to stop the scam. This S.O.B. called me 26 times while I was pretending to follow his instructions. Last call from him threatened me with the police picking me up in two minutes. I told him I would be calling the IRS myself. Haven't heard back from him. I reported this to the local authorities. I'll be contacting the FBI and the IRS next cause they have many people out there that will actually fall for this crap. I want these people brought to justice.

I received a call today, 04-14-2016 at 14:27 from(214)838-9667. The call was a pre-recorded message stating that they were a Detective from the IRS! LMAO!!! I hung up of coarse because I don't have time or patents for stupidity. It seems that the FTC is not doing anything to stop these calls since I receive at least 3 calls a day from scammers. I don't bother answering the phone anymore if I don't recognize the telephone number. I run my own DO NOT CALL LIST since the Government doesn't seem to protect our home or cell phone numbers against these scammers!
