Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

email: fccinfo@fcc.gov - Mrs MSaw missed call on my office phone. 3pm on a Saturday. No msg left.
- Rob| 2 repliesMultiple calls. No message, or no one on line when I've picked up. Same thing with 216 242 1245. And I've put my phone lines on the DNC list more than once. Doesn't seem to matter.
- SandyI just happened to pick up my phone in the last few minutes to see the interactions & calls I have missed today. I have a smartphone from Verizon and this call I had missed. I have the Call Control app which catches these annoying calls who simply are phishing to obtain one's personal information, likely for identity theft.
Tho the area code is for the Cleveland, Ohio area whoever keeps using Cleveland area's numbers are spoofing off other people's numbers in the area.
My Call Control app did its job once again by catching this call and blocking this number so that I wasn't hindered by these criminals who continue to keep calling. It marked the phone call as Telemarketing Spam. No true company came up on my phone's caller ID, just the phone number.
For those who get their apps through Google Play Store, I highly recommend the app. Since I put it on my smartphone I am not bothered by these people tho I do see the Call Control's record that the call happened, was blocked and what the call was..
I wish landlines could have this Call Control feature. It would make life quieter and less annoying with these people calling over and over and over again.
One would think that with these people targeting people for personal information in hopes of identity theft that federal law officials would track these people down.- Caller: SPAM for IDENTITY THEFT
