Got calls from this number.  Its a solar company robo call.  When you call back, its a wrong number.  I wonder how they do that?  They know how to play the game...

Green Energy Group, live caller.  I answered as if I was a business and said, "how can I direct your call," and he hung up.  Googled company, came back to S. California location for solar.

Called - CID=Broadlands IL.  No message.

I'm on a no call list. How can this company call me? As soon as I said I wasn't the home owner the person hung up.

The Do Not Call Registry is not a magic switch attached to your phone line, that will block calls.  It is NOT a call blocking service.

The DNC list can help stop calls originating from legitimate, registered telemarketers who have paid to subscribe to the list.
* Your calls were not from legitimate, registered telemarketers.
* Therefore, the DNC list cannot stop those calls.

The DNC list does not automatically block calls.  Instead, it provides a list of  "do not call" phone numbers to telemarketers who registered their businesses with the FCC, and who pay a fee for the list.  The DNC list administration is supported by these fees.

The DNC list exempts political callers, survey organizations,  charities, and companies with preexisting business relationships, as well as debt collectors and certain nonprofit organizations, but these organizations usually have their own, internal Do Not Call list (ask them).

The DNC list is not effective against criminals, spammers and scammers, because those telescum are not registered, do not subscribe to the DNC list, and do not care if you are on or off that list.
It can stop calls from legitimate telemarketers, and it does a pretty good job at that.  Just think ... if there were no DNC, you would be receiving incessant calls from BOTH legitimate and spamming telemarketers!

If a caller does not leave a message, the call is NOT a violation of the DNC rules!

The DNC itself has no enforcement authority - they forward complaints to the appropriate agency.

There is no significant drain on your tax dollar because the DNC is funded by the fees they charge registrants.

If you receive calls even after reporting them (and waiting a sufficient time), then you should consider using a call blocker app, device or service as your first line of defense.  Google "call blocker" to see such things at Amazon or other sites.

I got 10 calls a day. And even you hang up, it will call back in a second. More than 5 times none stop calling. Sick!!!

Annoying calls all the time

Claimed to be Chris Nelson. Harassed me on the phone, called me sweetie, whispered inappropriate things and then giggled.

Received unwanted sales call. When I said "go ahead and take me off your call list" he said "no". I repeated myself and he continued to say no. Then hung up.

No msg left, maybe I missed out on a "free" one way safari trip for two in the deserts of Pakistan?

Live male caller selling solar.  Asked many questions about my energy bill.  I hung up. Had multiple calls from  this number today.

Automated call talking about electric bill offers in my area.

217-834-9940 number has called several times this week, claiming the IRS is prosecuting me, if I don't handle the matter right away.  Of course, it's a scam.  The IRS sends summons by letter first.  Just annoys me.  I have the blocked but they keep rotating numbers.;

Received a unidentified call which I normally do not answer, but was thinking it was a call from a volunteer from my community. When I answered there was a pause and then a female voice said goodbye. Later I received three calls from this number which is some indication that the  caller was looking for live phone numbers.  Have blocked this caller and that should be the end of this clown

SCAM. Caller ID Broadlands IL. 1st called 2 days ago, not home and NML. This time I did not pick-up. Called back (on 2 different lines) and got NIS recording. Whatever they are selling, it's a SCAM.

I received a call from this number, no message - they can keep calling, if I don't recognize the number, I'm not picking up the phone!

Continues to call. I am disabled And it is an effort to get to the phone. Most of the time there is no answer. When I try to call back its disconnected
