I received a call from this number 10-28-15 in the afternoon.  I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to the message.  It said it was from the IRS and they were bringing a lawsuit against me.  I don' think so...  The location is Washington state (Kent, Tacoma)   They wanted me to call the number back.  Didn't do that.

Got a call from 253-336-4968 and a recording said the IRS was filing a lawsuit against Me. I called back and an Indian Woman answered.I asked How do I know You are Really the IRS. She said to come to an address in Washington State which she gave Me. I asked,Do You know where I am? She said Yes,in Massachusetts. I said,Do You want Me to get on a Plane and come there? That's Crazy. She said,Well You wanted to know if it was really the IRS,so come and see. I then asked Her Name and She Hung Up. Endf...This IRS Call is a SCAM...BEWARE...Believe Me, The IRS would just send You a Letter.

Received message on ans machine...stating there was a lawsuit being filed against me.  Since I am aware IRS does not do phone call notifications I have ignored it.  Obviously a scam!

Same, as I do know this that if the IRS has a Big Tadoo to communicate they will send you very fat envelops. I called the number and said how is it possible that I owe x money when I file as poverty stricken...they hung up.

Got the same message.  Said I'm being sued.  I told him (Indian Guy) to send me some info.  we'll see.

Fell for this once- not again!! The IRS does not call you- this is a total scam.
I now answer no calls from a number I don't know-- and I Google any number I don't know before returning any calls

Obvious scam call.  I formerly worked for the IRS.  The trash on the other end will babble about fraud.  The IRS does not handle fraud cases-the DOJ takes these cases to court.

Lets see last week the IRS was suing me and to call 253-655-4387  Now today the IRS still suing me and to call them at 253-336-4968   Keep changing there number every week. Wonder how much it's costing the scammers to use different numbers. I will call back and say in the men's room at a bar this number was written on the wall saying for a good time call veronica. lmao

Left the same message on my voicemail to call this number 253-336-4968 about the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. Wish I had answered the phone so I could laugh at the person, as I know this is a scam.

Got yet another call stating the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me...253-336-4968.  Good luck with that scammer

Its not the IRS...they say "Internal Revenue Services" not "Service."  I am definitely not calling back.
