A man named Michael King with Financial Mitigation Services. Contacting me to get my attorneys contact info for the affadivit uploaded to the county today.   Affadivit for what???        WHATEVER!!

Received the same exact msg.

I recieved the same message - Michael King or Keen from Financial Litigation, needing my attorney information about an affadavit being uploaded into the county today. I dont have a clue what this is for? I'm going with SCAM!!

Received the same message....didn't even say who they were calling for.   Probably a scammer.

Got same message I called back they said they needed my attorney info cause of a payday loan of 300.00. Lol never got one of those . They said I could settle out if court . even tho they were pressing charges on me and not wanting money they want me to do time....I told them let me change my underwear I'm waiting for the cops to come then an arrest me.petty this is a scam.

Got a call today 5/13 same message as everyone else.  Didnt say who the are calling for.  Thats y I keep all phone numbers and messages that these people leave.  I also report calls to my police department and my states attorneys generals office

Called today. They had my personal information but couldn't tell me anything. Kept me on hold too long so I hung up.

The same here.  I reported the number to the attorney general.  Their advise:  ignore it.  It is a scam to get information.  Scam bags.

They also called me today 5/20 left message but didn't say for who. Just to call because they wanted my attorneys information so sick of it. Reported it to the police.

They claim that they need to speak to my attorney regarding "an affidavit being uploaded against you today in the county".

If you call back (I did from a blocked number) they will give you a mailing address:  601 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD, 21202.  Sending a series of cease & decist letters this afternoon!

I made the mistake of getting a payday loan. It has been pure nightmare since. Paying back loan turned into one sc after another. They call threatening you with jail time. When you pay you get another call from another firm saying same thing. After paying what I thought was loan and fees three times I finally got help reported to police department. I was told key words are seized and desist(not spelled right im sure) they can't call after that..... please go to police department and report these scams good honest people are being taken advantaged of

I received the same phone call from 301-803-6076. Left me a message asking for my attorney's contact information. I called back and they said that they are filing criminal charges for fraud for not paying a Payday Loan.  They even had my old bank account number. They couldn't tell me exactly which payday loan company I supposedly borrowed from.  They did however did not have my correct driver's license number. I said wait a minute, I don't think this is ligit. I told them I will pay my debt once I receive something from them stating that I owe this and I need to investigate if this is real.  I totally think this is a scam.

Most likely a scam.   Don't talk to them.  Don't give them any information.  They might try to threaten you with loss of driver's privileges.  Which is total nonsense, or jail time which is more nonsense.   I called the number out of curiosity.  Background noise sounds like 3 or four people on the phone and they also sound like kitchen-table debt scammers.   Possibly located in the US and working out of somebody's house.  No idea where they are located.

I first recieved a voicemail from Michael King, looking for a Jeff.  I made the mistake of calling back and saying that had the wrong number.  Force of habit.  Then I statred getting calls today from a Sunny and then again from Michael, stating that I was being charged for a pay loan that I never paid back.  They had all of my informatio, incluidng my current address, old bank account information, email (that used soley for spam), myemployer, and stated that had my SS # as well.  They would not tell me the amount of the person I owed money to.  Just clamied they would settle out of court for a Pay Day loan that I did 2 years ago.  Which I have never in my life have done.
I did notice about 2 years ago that I had an inquiry on my credit report and called the company and they had no information on me and didnt understand why it was reporting on my credit report.  Be sure to check your reports and closely monitor all activity!!!
