They called saying I had a issue.  Told me to call a 855 number.    

All is says is Newark, NJ on the caller ID.

I have no idea of what they want, so I am NOT calling.  Besides they used a name that was not mine.

Immediately sent to voice mail. Was told "I had a complaint against me" and to call an 855 number.  Total scam.  Number is now banned and reported to the FCC as a vilation of my privacy.

they claim to be a litigation firm(its illegal to say this)..and that they work for attorneys(not true)..when u talak to them..record the conversation and report them to the attorney general as i have...this has gotta stop..you will not threaten me into paying anything...CLOWNS!!!!!!!!! THE ARE DEFINATELY SCAMMERS!!!

It would help if the posters listed the 855 number they were told to call.

So sick of calls from these people with their false claims

received a computer call saying that my drivers license and/or ssno was used on a bad check to call a 855 # or press 5 to be connect. Which I did press 5 to see what was going on since I don't use checks. nobody answered so I hung up. called the number back and it keep ringing so I came out here to see what is going on with the number .

the same thing just happened to me just now. that my license # or ss# was linked to a bad check! to call back the 855 #.

left a VM stating my license or SSN was connected to a bad check. Called the 855 number with no answer, then called the 302 number.  After calling the that with no answer, someone answered that person was trying to collect on a payday loan I took out over 9 years ago and is illegal in my state. She said they were pursuing legal action for the bad check. I just laughed and hung up. But before I got a person, when I called the 855 number it would say the number is not in service.

Just called and same the same thing about a payday loan and where taking me to court. I have no idea what they were talking about. False claim

i just got a call from these people they told me that i took out a loan in 2007 which like i  told the guy i did not and he got nasty after that and threatened to call the sheriff's department on me
